Cam Coleman is already making the most of his high-profile transfer to the Arch Manning-led Texas Longhorns following his best season by volume. Coleman’s growth isn’t only there for the fans to see on the field, but also off the field because he’s making bank. Coleman continues to cash in on his rising profile, adding another major brand to his NIL portfolio.

Coleman has inked an NIL deal with the $5.1 billion footwear giant Crocs, announcing the partnership on his Instagram on Thursday. He shared a reel that features Coleman sporting his new pair of Crocs with Texas-style coloring, and a burnt orange Raspberry Hills hoodie to go along with his footwear.

“All in with @Crocs #CrocsPartner,” read the caption.

Although his list isn’t that long, Cam Coleman signed a deal with Nike during his Auburn days before coming across Crocs. Regardless, the market value is quite high, as the Longhorns WR has a $2.9 million NIL valuation, according to On3. That ranks seventh in college football and ninth highest in the nation, and it also put Coleman second on the Texas roster, after Arch Manning.

Moreover, this Crocs deal has led Coleman to join an elite group, which includes Duke’s Cameron and Cayden, ex-OSU WR Carnell Tate, and more, who’ve also partnered with the brand. The name, image, and likeness boost has a direct connection to the Texas WR’s prowess on the field, and the numbers are there to back it up, with Cam Coleman recording 93 catches for 1,306 yards.

Now, at Texas, he is expected to be the No. 1 target for the Texas star QB for the 2026 season. This final season for Manning must be crucial, as Steve Sarkisian is eyeing the national title to break a 20-year-long spell. Coleman’s arrival is a significant boost to those championship hopes. As the No. 2 overall transfer, he immediately becomes a cornerstone of the Longhorns’ offensive plans.

“Of all the wins Texas landed in the portal, none were bigger than beating out Alabama, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech for Auburn transfer wide receiver Cam Coleman. He’s an instant-impact player who gives Manning another weapon with Ryan Wingo in the passing game,” wrote On3’s Pete Nakos.

The 190-pound WR’s decision to sign with the Longhorns came after Auburn’s head coaching change, and it appears that the decision of the Auburn AD seems to come with a little irony.

Auburn’s decision benefits Texas with Arch Manning’s new teammate’s arrival

When John Cohen fired Hugh Freeze, the roster was totally shaken, resulting in Cam Coleman, one of his program’s most crucial players, hitting the portal. After that, the WR found a new home with the Longhorns. Meanwhile, the Austin American-Statesman’s David Eckert highlighted the irony. According to him, if Freeze had received another chance, maybe Coleman would have stuck with Auburn.

“Look, maybe Auburn wide receiver Cam Coleman would have entered the transfer portal even if the Tigers had given coach Hugh Freeze a fourth season to rectify his disastrous three-year tenure on the Plains. But firings blow up rosters. and Cohen’s decision to move on from Freeze gave the Longhorns the opportunity they needed to land one of the most talented receivers in the SEC,” wrote Eckert.

In short, Cohen’s decision indirectly benefits Texas.

“A rose with a nice thank-you note attached is in order,” added Eckert.

While the NIL deals make headlines, the real test for Coleman will be translating that hype into production for a Texas team with championship aspirations. For Longhorns fans, his partnership with Arch Manning can’t start soon enough.
