Biff Poggi had a five-year deal with Charlotte Athletics worth $1 million annually and said, “We are not rebuilding but reshaping.” This had a $500K base salary and $500K from the Athletic Foundation. The contract was supposed to end on December 31, 2027. But after a rough time, Charlotte let him go last year mostly because of the 6-16 record.

But Poggi he was always a man who lifted his program. During his time at St. Frances Academy, he gave in his own $2.5 million to recruit top players nationally and to build a strong program.
