Marrying your school crush isn’t something that happens to many people, but only the extremely lucky ones. Oregon’s QB Dillon Garbriel not only made a wise decision in his career but also in his love life. The 23-year-old got down on his knee earlier this month for long-term girlfriend Zoe Caswell. And now they’ve officially tied the knot with a ring and a kiss!

The couple met in Mililani High School and have been a thing even when Dillon Gabriel transferred from UCF to Oklahoma and now to Oregon. Now as he starts his final season of college football, his other half is there to support and cheer for him in all his ventures. Gabriel proposed to Zoe on September 1st which is the day after his Oregon debut. While it’s not clear, speculations suggest that their wedding might take place next year before his NFL transition as a legitimate prospect.

Dillon Gabriel comes off a good start in Oregon

In football, winning is always the goal no matter what. And Dillon Gabriel has proved that he can win games for Oregon as the new QB. In his debut game against Idaho, he threw for 49 attempts for 380 yards and two touchdowns to celebrate their first 24-14 win of the season. But his performance wasn’t perfect as he fumbled on a sack. Still, winning alone isn’t enough for Gabriel.

After his first game, he said, “Stats are one thing, but we’re just focused on winning. A win is a win, I will say that, but there’s a lot we need to improve on.” Still, the space in the room for improvement is never filled. In the Week 2 game against Boise State, Dillon Gabriel led the Ducks to a close 37-34 victory with 234 yards and two touchdowns. Will their next game against Oregon State on September 15 see an improvement?
