Carson Beck’s relationship with Hanna Cavinder took the internet by storm earlier this year when they were spotted together enjoying the 4th of July weekend. The “lady love” by his side was none other than one of the famous Cavinder twins. While some fans were thrilled, others had their doubts about the relationship. Still, Hanna has been a strong supporter of the Georgia Bulldogs’ quarterback throughout his season—but with a cheeky sense of humor to boot.
As the NCAA basketball season kicks off, the Cavinder twins, Haley and Hanna, are back in action, turning 24 this January. Known for their fearless approach, they’ve been sharing highlights from the court and their lives online. Following a stellar 2023 season where they helped lead the Miami Hurricanes to their first-ever Elite Eight appearance, the twins decided to stay in college for another year, saying they just couldn’t “pass up” the opportunity. Their game clips and social media content have become a hit with fans, making their time on and off the court a joy to follow.
Recently, Hanna took a playful jab at her boyfriend Carson Beck through a viral TikTok trend. She posted a fun, empowering video with her sister, Haley, captioned, “Told our boyfriends they couldn’t guard us on the court,” along with the hashtag “#womeninmalefields.” The video, featuring Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” as the background track, shows the sisters courtside, flashing peace signs and confident smiles. It’s both a lighthearted roast and a celebration of women excelling in male-dominated sports.

The post also featured Haley’s boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson. While it wasn’t a direct shot at Beck’s abilities as a quarterback, it comes at a time when questions about his leadership of the Georgia Bulldogs have been swirling. Despite a tough season with struggles in the running game and interceptions, Beck has still managed to lead the Bulldogs to an 8-2 record.

Hanna Cavinder is breaking the barriers
After a year away, Hanna and Haley made a comeback to the Hurricanes to start their fifth season. They aspire to repeat their unprecedented first-ever Elite Eight run as seniors. Hanna averages 8.5 points, 3.3 returns, and 4.8 touches while throwing 44.4% from the field. On the other hand, her sister averages 15.5 points, 5.8 recoveries, and 3.8 touches while shooting 44.6%.

Tricia Cullop, Miami Hurricanes coach, praised these Cavinder twins for their relentless work ethic, saying it sets a good example for their peers. “They’re two of the hardest workers I’ve ever coached or played with, and that’s saying a lot because I played with some All-Americans. They have an extreme hunger to want to be better, and they set the bar really high for the rest of the players,” Cullop said. Moreover, she stated, “It’s great for my incoming freshman class, which was ranked 18th in the country, to see two kids who have a lot of press being such hard workers. When your best players are your hardest workers, you have something special.“
It basically confirms that the Cavinder sisters are pros. On the basketball court, we would love to watch them attempt to defy their boyfriends. How cool would that be?
