In another sad turn of events, Kylie Beck shared the news of a young teenager’s passing – who had so much going for her. “Fly high angel,” Kylie wrote while sharing the update from Pageants Smart. In the original post, Pageants Smart pays homage to young Kadance Fredericksen, who unfortunately lost her life due to a car crash. “I am thankful I got to see her just a month ago. So full of life with dreams of high school graduation, going off to college, working two jobs to save up some money, her last photoshoot full of surprises and making plans to see each other again in April,” Pageants Smart wrote.

It had only been a week since Kadance got her Ellison McCraney Ingram Foundation scholarship. A whopping $40,000 that would’ve helped her get a step closer to her big aspirations and dreams. “Thank you to the Ingram family, the foundation, and everyone involved for this amazing honor!” she had mentioned while sharing the update on her personal Instagram account.
Just 4 years ago, Kadance was “just another girl” on the block trying to find her identity. Fast forward a few years, and she was already an author and has had 2 consecutive Top 5 placements at Miss Florida Teen USA. She was just gearing up for the 2025 show when life decided to be very unfair.
Our hopes and prayers go out to Kadance’s parents and family. But hey, Kadance will forever stay with us through all the important work she has done for children.

Pageant contest and a charity founder
Yes, you heard that right. In 2017, Kadance started her charity called ‘Kada’s Promise’. The goal was simple: provide blankets and stuffed toys to children in foster care, homeless shelters, hospitals, and more. What fueled this idea was a childhood that wasn’t so great.

“When I was little, I was abused and neglected by my biological mother and stepfather… During those times, the only thing I had to call my own was a stuffed animal I received as a gift,” Kadance pointed out during her interview with TV20.
Through her 2017 Little Miss Northwest Florida title, Kadance also managed to raise around $25k for the Ronald McDonald House. To think that she managed to do all of this at such a young age is truly inspiring!!
