Miller Moss enters the transfer portal

2024 ended on a sad note for Miller Moss. The 22-year-old got his first starting nod this season in his fourth year at USC. But after leading the Trojans to a 4-5 record, HC Lincoln Riley benched him in favor of transfer QB Jayden Maiava. This sparked his decision to enter the transfer portal. For Moss, it’s time to “move on to  new opportunities” as he told ESPN. But this will also mean that he’ll have to settle for a long-distance relationship with his girlfriend Sofia Hildebrand whom he started dating last fall. But Moss has an understanding and supportive partner.

On his transfer portal announcement on Instagram, Hildebrand commented, “So proud of you, can’t wait for you to take over the world.” She even shared the post on her story with the caption, “Can’t wait to see where the world takes you, beyond proud.” Yes. She should be proud. Miller Moss may have failed to make a statement in his debut starting season but he still showcased good talent passing for 2,555 yards and 18 touchdowns in nine games. 

Why Deion Sanders is good for Florida State 

Is Deion Sanders transferring? Rumors will never end and in this particular one, the Buffs HC could potentially move to FSU to replace a beaten-up Mike Norvell who led the Seminoles to an embarassing 2-10 record this season. According to former NFL QB Cam Newton, the only person who can revive this program is Coach Prime who improved a 1-11 team to 4-8 and 9-3.

Travis Hunter receives a millionaire’s support in his Heisman case

When CB Patrick Surtain II inked the $96 million contract spanning four years with the Denver Broncos, the football world went crazy. He became the highest-paid defensive back in NFL history. So surely when such a player makes a move, it becomes a sensation. It also helps that the one he’s hyping is none other than Travis Hunter who’s arguably the best college football player. 

Patrick Surtain II made a sensation when he rocked a Travis Hunter Heisman shirt ahead of the Broncos’ game against the Cleveland Browns. After Colorado capped off the regular season game with a 52-0 shutdown to Oklahoma State, Hunter’s Heisman odds shot to -10000. But the appreciation has always been there. He also hyped the Heisman contender in August saying, “Travis is one of one. Never seen anything like it.” If that’s not pure admiration, what is?
