Which redemption story this year is the most amazing, in your opinion? The Buffs, indeed. Not only did Coach Prime bounce back from the 4-8 debacle, but the Buffaloes are in the Bowl series and have had one of their best runs to date after six grueling years. Forget the hype—the big question is if Coach Sanders can get Shedeur a spot with the Las Vegas Raiders.

The quarterback for the Buffs is swaggering and has stats without a question. However, being successful in the NFL requires more than just showing off on Sunday nights; it also requires character, leadership, and perseverance. Amidst all these, Deion Jr.’s optimistic predictions about the bowl game have now won Coach Prime’s approval.

Deion Sanders Jr. drops a ‘what if’ scenario for the bowl game

Deion Sanders Jr. recently shared an X post titled ‘What if?’ that posed a fascinating scenario: what if Colorado faced the Miami Hurricanes in a bowl game, making it the final college game for both Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward? Coach Prime uploaded another picture referring to Deion Jr.’s X post with the comment, “Would’ve been Legendary,” in order to validate his wishful thinking. And, providing Shedeur and Cam’s on-field and off-field bond, it would be truly legendary.

For those who are unaware, Miami’s quarterback Ward and Buff’s quarterback Shedeur are close friends and both have the same quarterback coach, Darrell Colbert Jr. It would be a fantastic conclusion to Shedeur and Cam’s respective collegiate football careers if Deion Jr.’s desire came true. And having a good competition with a friend who shares your potential can be a terrific way to conclude things.

With over 3,900 passing yards, 35 TDs, and just 8 interceptions in his senior season, Shedeur is already being hailed as a top-5 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Just in case you need more proof, Shedeur won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award in 2024. That’s basically the most coveted quarterback honor.

What’s your perspective on:

Can Shedeur Sanders be the savior the Raiders desperately need, or is it just wishful thinking?

Have an interesting take?

In contrast, Cam Ward is growing into one of the 2025 NFL Draft’s best prospects and could be selected in the top ten. With his dual-threat skills and outstanding stats—including more than 3,100 passing yards and 29 TDs for only 6 interceptions this season—Ward has guided Miami to an incredible 10-2 record. With both Shedeur and Ward poised for NFL stardom next year, Shedeur’s potential landing spot with the Raiders is still a bit of a wildcard. Will it actually work out?

Will the Raiders draft Shedeur Sanders?

In addition to developing a collegiate football program, Coach Prime is influencing his son Shedeur Sanders’ NFL career. Following rumors that the Las Vegas Raiders would be Sanders’ favorite landing destination, the excitement is intensifying. Could Shedeur be a part of the solution for the business that has to be rebuilt?

Coach Prime gained notoriety in Feb when he openly suggested to Raiders HC Antonio Pierce that he draft his sons. “Now I just need you to do one thing: I need you to draft those Sanders boys,” Sanders allegedly said to Pierce. With the Raiders presently holding the second overall choice in the upcoming NFL Draft, the comment adds excitement to the team’s scenario. However, the Raiders are a strong contender for a reboot given their difficulties this season. As of now, one of CFB’s most exciting quarterbacks, Shedeur Sanders, is playing well and might be the cornerstone of the team’s comeback.

Joining the Raiders might be a huge chance for Shedeur. His dual-threat talent and composure under duress make him the perfect fit for the team, which is in dire need of a star quarterback. It is still unclear, though, if the Raiders will select Shedeur.
