As a new mom, Deiondra Sanders is always trying to do what’s best for her baby. Recently, she made a courageous decision about her baby’s health. On October 12, 2024, she shared an IG post with a heartfelt message in which she mentioned, “I recently shared my top three reasons why I chose to bank my baby’s newborn stem cells with @cordbloodregistry. I received so many questions that I wanted to take you on a deeper look into why I did this and the possible benefits for my baby and family.” Her decision even received backing from her family as well. Deion Sanders Jr. made his comments on his sister’s post, like “🔥🔥🔥��”, and “Amen.” Seems like Uncle Bucky’s really proud of Deiondra for being so sensible.

Coach Prime’s daughter shared a post on Instagram on September 16, 2024, outlining the three major reasons why she chose to save her baby’s stem cells through @cordbloodregistry. “After doing some research, I think this might be a really important investment for my family’s health in the future,” she said. As a result, her top priority was ensuring the long-term health of her family.

Today, cord blood stem cells are already being used to treat over 80 recognized illnesses, including sickle cell disease and leukemia. Additionally, hundreds of research trials utilizing stem cells from cord tissue and blood have been started in an effort to treat diseases like type 1 diabetes, heart disease, and other ailments. She even detailed her hardships in a heartfelt Instagram post, writing, “Through every challenge-the fibroids, the threatened miscarriages, the shortened cervix, the cerclage, the myomectomies, the wisdom of age (keep it cute lol), placenta accreta and taking my entire uterus, the bed rest, and the prayers to reach 28 weeks-by the grace of God.”

It’s a familiar feeling for any mother who encounters such difficulties during childbirth to finally be able to hold her bundle of joy, and Deiondra was no exception. Deiondra happily broke the good news of Baby Que’s birth, writing, “WE MADE IT Y’ALL 🥹.” This mother is a real fighter.
