Deion Jr. even captioned their final exchange, saying, “Crazy bro.” Well, it’s true though as Quan’s untimely death at just 34 sent quite a crazy shockwave. It was his girlfriend, Amber Williams, who discovered the tragedy. At first, she thought Quan was just asleep and went about her daily routine. But as time passed, she panicked and turned him over, finding foam in his mouth. With no heartbeat, Williams quickly called 911 to report the incident. Well, the investigation is still going on, and more details are yet to come to light.

Coach Prime mourns the loss of Rich Homie Quan

After Deion Sanders Jr. shared his last exchange with Rich Homie Quan, Coach Prime was deeply moved. He posted, “Lord that news regarding @RichHomieQuan Hurt,” adding, “I just spoke to my brother a couple of weeks ago. He introduced me to his son, who was playing youth football. They were gonna come to a game. Will someone from the family please reach my son @DeionSandersJr. We’re praying for y’all.”

It’s clear that Rich Homie Quan held a special place in his heart for Deion. Not long ago, the Buffaloes HC was seen dancing to one of Quan’s songs during practice, a moment Quan later reposted, calling it a ‘full circle’ moment. Well, growing up watching Coach Prime play, Quan was more than excited by all means to connect with him.

In fact, the latter single was even considered an unofficial anthem for the Spartans. And throughout his career, Quan collaborated with many artists, including Coach Prime’s son-in-law, Jacquees, on the single “Come Thru.” Well, Jacquees, too, was shocked by Quan’s sudden death, posting heartfelt pictures on Instagram, captioned, “QUAN! 💔😥🙏🏾👼🏽 MY BROTHER!!!”  It seems the Sanders fam is feeling this loss on a very personal level.
