When Notre Dame hosts Texas A&M in Week 3, the on-field clash isn’t the only thing drawing attention. Last season, the Aggies had a rough time at Kyle Field in College Station, with Notre Dame taking the win on a 23-13 rollercoaster. Naturally, this year, with South Bend awaiting Texas A&M’s arrival, things are destined to go a bit haywire. The game has already been dubbed the hottest ticket of the week, with resale markets pushing prices to levels that stand out even in today’s CFB economy.

As per VividSeats, the average ticket for the matchup at Notre Dame Stadium is going for an eye-watering $530. The cheapest “get in” option stands at $197. If you are lucky, then you might be able to grab some other cheap options back on Ticketmaster. We checked, and on the market, you can snag a Section 22-Row 46 ticket for around $184. This whole resale and ticket pricing situation puts the Aggies-Irish showdown firmly in “national event” territory.

When we compared this whole slick with what’s going on with the SEC prices, this game comes close to rivaling them. The Georgia and the Vols game is sitting at an average of $250 to $300 in resale value. While other ranked games are sitting in a $150–$250 range.

However, the overpriced tickets aren’t the only thing that the Aggies fans have to worry about. The Texas A&M fans will have to travel close to 789 miles to make it to South Bend. The travel and lodging alone could cost a family or a group close to a four-figure sum; aka, simply being in the building comes at a premium. However, the best thing is that this won’t stop the Aggies fans from supporting their team.

Being on a 2-0 run and awaiting revenge for last season, it is being reported that close to 20% of Aggies fans are projected to be at South Bend. While this might sound like an “absurd” number to many, stuff like this tends to happen. It even ranges upwards to the 40% mark for some games as well. One thing is for sure: On Saturday night, South Bend will be buzzing not only with the energy of two proud programs but also with the awareness that this is one of the most in-demand tickets in the country.
