6-5! The Trojans did have the best season but head coach Lincoln Riley is happy with how his team performed last week. They entered the field with a flu outbreak and still managed to pull a 19-13 victory against UCLA in week 13. While the champion game is knocking on the doors, the early signing period is around the corner as well. Many young talents are getting recognition and the five-star uncommitted Jakheem Stewart is one of them. 

Does Michigan have competition? Looks like so! In November, a USC insider revealed that Lincoln Ruley has a high chance of landing the five-star player. “Some breaking news with some big-time news: Jahkeem Stewart has officially been a crystal ball to USC.” Sherrone Moore, are you listening to this? Lincoln Riley and Sherrone Moore are sailing in the same boat when it comes to their performance this season. But Moore has outperformed him when it comes to recruiting. Bryce Underwood is one of the biggest examples. 

But hold on! Will Michigan’s $200M funding work in Stewart’s case?  The insider further sheds light on the same and highlights why USC is leading the race. “ Jahkeem Stewart  I believe that USC is leading in this race and for several reasons. The number one reason is going to be dog work. We already told you that dog work is in full. The effect is a gold tide miss on it. Popping it’s on and cracking. And the dog work effect is really real. And I told you, if it separates between relationships that Jahkeem Stewart is connected to. I believe that dog work is going to win this battle.” Well, the insider has made it clear that USC’s Trojans’ hard work is going to help them get a top athlete. So, now is it hard work vs. the money? 

Moore and his staff are working smart. They very well know that this season they did not perform like a defending champion and now he is ready to spend money through NIL to get top athletes in the team. On November 23, Michigan Sports Talks revealed, “Michigan is making another nil push for late here in the 2025 class is the 2025 five-star defensive lineman Jahkeem Stewart from the state of Louisiana.” Now the big question is, what will the five-star defensive lineman choose? 

Can Dan Lanning be a threat to Michigan and USC?

Hold no! Michigan and Trojans are not the only ones fighting for the five-star recruit. More garnered scholarships from more than 20 programs. Of which Oregon, LS, USC, Ohio State, and Michigan are still fighting for him. But who can be the biggest competition for USC? Expect Michigan. 

Well, no doubt it has to be the Dan Lanning program Oregon Ducks. 11-0! Their record speaks for them. They are the only undefeated team college football has as it entered week 14. Although the Ducks are performing phenomenally this season, who does not want a strong defense? Ducks has a bye week, which gave Lanning some extra time to work on his recruiting process and they are now planning to get Stewart to the university and work on his commitment. But will all of their efforts go down the drain, after all, it is about money.
