His college heroics led Connor Shaw to the pros. While he wasn’t picked in the NFL draft, the Cleveland Browns decided to take a punt on the Gamecocks’ QB1. He was signed as an undrafted free agent in May 2014. At Browns, Shaw even went on to start one game. That start was his first and last start in the NFL. The next two years didn’t bring any stability for the QB. He was bounced around the practice squad for two years, and ultimately, Shaw was waived by the Browns. There was some interest by the Bears but it didn’t result in anything. That was the end of his NFL career.
