Deion Sanders’ cancer diagnosis has changed things a lot for his loved ones. They were staring at the harshest possible reality, as Coach Prime had to undergo 36 hours of chemotherapy. Karrueche Tran, his girlfriend, continued to be a source of support as Prime Time dealt with that battle. Even now, she continues her support by being vocal about the issues.

Sanders had a bladder removed and reconstructed. Plus, they recently underwent surgery to deal with a blood clot issue. Seeing the toll, Karrueche Tran was moved to share a very relevant post on Instagram to generate an impact on her massive fan following. The 37-year-old shared a post on her story, which called out the hypocrisy in companies and their so-called awareness about cancer. “How about instead of adding a pink ribbon to their products this month, companies actually remove the ingredients from their products that CAUSE cancer?” the post read.

Karrueche Tran knows what it looks like to suddenly look at the very real thought of losing a loved one to cancer. She also advocated for breast cancer awareness in a PSA for an event organized by Lifetime Movies last year. In the first tell-all video from Well Off Media, it was Tran who was encouraged by Deion Sanders Jr. to break the harsh news. Her love and support were clear for Coach Prime as she struggled to contain her emotions.

Deion Sanders himself has become an advocate for breast cancer awareness. This month, he partnered with Blenders Eyewear, launching a cool new pair of shades. All of the proceeds would go to Keep A Breast’s breast cancer prevention and education programs. The shades debuted with rose gold details as part of the cause, instead of the usual gold. Apart from this, Coach Prime showed up at UCHealth alongside a group of brave cancer survivors. Raising awareness is the motto for Sanders and his girlfriend.

Cancer has now become something that moves Tran and Sanders on a similar level. She continues to be the doting partner, just as she was for Coach Prime’s recent medical procedure.

Karrueche Tran and Deion Sanders didn’t need a soft or hard launch to tell the world about their relationship. She stood by him in his darkest time, and that alone was proof of her commitment to him. Though she has largely refrained from being seen together with Sanders officially, she continues to be at his side. Coach Prime went through yet another surgery this month to treat blood clots. And just like last time, Tran was there beside him.

However, the mood was not as grim as the last video. Coach Prime did lament the fact that he had been in this spot 16 times now. But otherwise, Deion Sanders was his usual, cheery self. Tran was a teensy bit emotional, but was all smiles as well. Coach Prime joked about the actress breaking into tears on command. She helped tie up Sanders’ hospital gown and also held his hand as he was wheeled to surgery after he requested her to. He even revealed that the surgery would be 4 hours long.

This all comes just 2 months after Deion Sanders spoke about beating cancer. His life is now split between before and after his fight against cancer. It was a life-altering event for Coach and was just as much for Karrueche Tran. Be it any form of cancer, these two have now become loud voices championing the cause.
