The WeWantJuJu chant is never-ending! Julian Lewis had been to Colorado for three visits with his last one leaving a lasting hope for the Buffs. Shedeur Sanders was handing him a key, which people believe is symbolic of him passing on the QB role. Days after that, his father, TC Lewis, shared a cryptic post about his son’s decision where he and Julian were standing overlooking the Folsom Field.
Fast forward, Julian Lewis hadn’t been active on Instagram for over two weeks. But now he’s back and that too with an intriguing post sparking the hope of the Colorado Buffs.
On August 12, Julian Lewis uploaded a series of photos on his IG with the caption, “We back.” In the first photo, he was pictured lying on the floor surrounded by proof of his football achievements. He followed the post with four more photos of him but it is what he’s wearing that caught the attention of the Buffs fans. As the 5-star QB rocked his HS uniform that resembles CU Buffs’ white jersey, fans’ expectations soared with one person saying, “ISTG I thought he was in a buff uniform.”

Back in July, during the Big 12 Media Days, Shedeur voiced his desire for Julian Lewis to be his replacement while becoming Deion Sanders’ new son. He said, “Julian coming, he may be able to take over the reins, but I wouldn’t be mad at that. Whoever is the next quarterback, it should be Julian, but he’ll be like his new son.” Would Julian want to be Deion Sanders’ new son equivalent and commit to Colorado? The Buffs fans are hoping so.

CU Buffs fans take up the recruiting role
Aside from multiple WeWantJuJu hashtags, the Buffs fans are doing their part in recruiting the potential Shedeur replacement. A user posted, “You might as well stay in the same colors SkoBuffs.” His present uniform can confuse people as the Buffs uniform and he looks good in it.

A Buffs fan wishes the best for the HS QB in his final year at Carrollton. But he used buffalo emojis before his words that read “These colors look fabulous on you. Enjoy your senior year!” Lowkey recruiting?

But this next person isn’t hiding anything. They posted, “Have a fantastic final season, young man! (and then, ohhhh I so hope to root for you at black n’ gold Folsom!) ‘Sko!” Julian Lewis playing at Folsom Field is the dream of not only the Buffs fans but also the team as a whole.
Another person is so sure that Julian is going to be an ultimate Buff. They commented, “Dude stop playing, it’s a no brainer. @cubuffsfootball is where you need to be. The team will be yours next year. They are a couple players away from the National Championship. No point in carrying this out any longer. Any other decision makes no sense.” Do you think the Buffs are going to ultimately sign this coveted QB? All we can do is wait for his decision to drop.
