Shilo was present at ComplexCon in Vegas. Fans were quick to ask about his experience at the fest and got a major scoop on his NFL career plan as well. Vegas Sports Today interacted with Shilo. Although in fun banter, Deion Sanders’ son revealed that he is interested in joining the Las Vegas Raiders as a safety.
“My experience at ComplexCon makes me want to ask you to reach out to the Raiders and to ask them if they need a safety, come holla at me,” he said to Mike Dixon, who covers the Raiders. And Shilo did not pass up on the opportunity for the job hunt. “I don’t live in Vegas, but I could, if the Raiders said, ‘Come on, do a workout real quick.’ I could live in Vegas,” he added.

In addition to that, behind Isaiah Pola-Mao and Chris Smith II at the free safety position, there are two spots vacant. Thomas Harper was another name on the list. Earlier this season, he left for the Detroit Lions. So, evidently, Vegas might have a need for backup safeties.
But would Shilo be able to land the potential spot? His track record hasn’t been an attractive prospect. This preseason, he recorded four tackles and three missed tackles. At the Buccaneers as well, under the 53-man roster, the then free agent was competing for the fourth safety spot with Kaevon Merriweather and Rashad Wisdom, before he was ejected. Even his Pro Football Focus grades rank him No. 39 out of the 40 players.
This plea for safety can also be related to his current financial troubles.

Shilo Sanders lands in financial trouble
The 25-year-old is under a lot of financial trouble presently and is revamping his job search, as it seems. Remember the $4669 fine he owed for roughing the passer? Well, that’s not the only financial trouble he landed in.
With no NFL contract anymore, he is trying hard to prove to the court his financial troubles. However, a new scoop by the case’s trustee, David Wadsworth, shared a new development. He argued that Shilo had transferred about $250,000 from BIG 21, his business venture. But since, owing to his bankruptcy claim, Sanders cannot claim possession of it.
As per the complaint by Wadsworth, it reads, “Nevertheless… the Trustee did not authorize transfers that totaled approximately $250,000.00 out of Defendant Big 21’s bank account after the Petition Date for the benefit of the Debtor.” Per USA Today, Wadsworth is “seeking to recover that money and more.” Part of it also includes NIL earnings from college.
