Deion Sanders on losing crucial players

Losing players such as Travis Hunter and Jimmy Horn Jr. during a crucial game is undoubtedly one of the most devastating events for the Colorado Buffs. Even Deion Sanders agrees with this. After their showdown against the Wildcats, Coach Prime shared his thoughts on Travis and Jimmy, emphasizing their importance as crucial members of the team. He mentioned, “Losing Travis and Jimmy and others was tremendous because they’re a vital part of our team, a vital part of our identity; they’re a vital part of who we are.”

Despite the loss of dual-threat Travis Hunter and other crucial players, the team demonstrated a solid defense against the Wildcats. As defensive back, Colton Hood took up the charge after Hunter left the field. He returned an interception for 59 yards to the Wildcats 17-yard line. The Colorado Buffs gained a 28-24 lead with only 3:12 left on the clock, thanks to star quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who threw an impressive 11-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver LaJohntay Wester. Unfortunately, the team’s game ended with a 31-28 score after losing the football in the final moment. Let’s hope they bounce back strong in their upcoming showdown against Arizona.
