In Jacquees’ life, the individual due to whom he has become a different person is his fiance, Deiondra Sanders. The musician did assert in a recent video that he takes charge of his life by getting sober, and that his girl encouraged him to do so. Adorable! More intriguing, though, is his girl’s appreciation for him on the recovery path.

Aylipservice posted a video of Jacquees’ interview on his X account on November 8th, captioning it, “#Jacquees takes control of his life by becoming sober. We adore accountability ❣️.” Deiondra Sanders wrote, “Accountability! 👏 so proud of you!” in response to this post. They both appear to want to start over and forget about the past. However, what was Jacquee’s previous life like, how does he feel about the changes, and is he willing to give up anything for them? All of your questions may come to mind. Very natural.

Well, the footage showed Jacquees’ statement to his fiance, Deiondra. When he was asked about his sobriety journey, he stated, “I was almost on the verge of being, like, an alcoholic. I was like, I gotta take back control of my life, you know, I had, like, lost control of my life for like a year, totaling cars, just getting into trouble. Just doing stuff that I really knew I shouldn’t have been doing. And then I kept coming up out of every situation clean. And my girl really pushed me to really do it for real, you know how.“

According to Jacquees, “You know how they could be, like, threatening to leave you if you don’t do what you need to do and all that” is how she changed him. He stopped drinking and took his life and career extremely seriously, and he is now a completely different guy. Because he came to realize that he could be anywhere he wanted to be. However, he lost his friends along the way, possibly because their outlook didn’t align with his in the current situation.

However, he always has Deiondra by his side, no matter what. And even now, her constant encouragement encourages the singer to take on greater responsibility every day. But not just for his fiancée, the courageous woman recently voiced her opinion on the US presidential election.
