The Raiola family isn’t just known for their Nebraska legacy but also for their tight-knit bond. Whether it’s celebrating Dylan Raiola‘s NIL achievements or his on-field success, his sister Taylor never skips a chance to cheer him on. Younger brother and Nebraska commit Dayton Raiola also has her in his corner. That’s why, though Dylan couldn’t attend his brother’s special day because of his Nebraska commitments, Taylor pulled out all the stops to make it memorable.

QB Dayton Raiola’s Nebraska commitment has often made headlines in Lincoln, but his high school journey was anything but ordinary. As that chapter ends, the Raiola family ensured Senior Day radiated love and pride, even without Dylan in attendance. And that’s probably why his sister, Taylor, marked the moment with a heartfelt family tribute, sharing it on Instagram on Sunday with the caption, “Celebrated one of my favorite humans this weekend 💚 SO proud of you, Dayton Raiola.”
That Instagram post features a series of pictures. In one, Taylor proudly holds a poster dedicated to Dayton. Another shows the whole family: Mom, Dad, Taylor, and Dayton. Then, one photo highlighted their sibling bond, while another showed Dayton with a garland around his neck, striking his signature pose.

Although the poster in Taylor’s hand really steals the spotlight as it’s covered with playful tags for Dayton like “Day 10,” “Take Me Thru Dere,” and “S— Dexy.” Before that, she also sent Dayton a heartfelt message as he wrapped up his final year before heading to Nebraska.

On October 25, Taylor wrote, “Happy Senior Night!! I love you.” She even highlighted the date, writing, “10/24/2025,” and recognized that the date makes perfect sense when looking back at Dayton’s high school journey. He made serious waves at one of the Southeast’s premier prep programs. When the Buford rolled to a 65-21 blowout over Roswell, improving to 3-0 on the season, Dayton was at the center of it all. In that game, he completed 15 of 23 passes for 210 yards, including a jaw-dropping 60-yard bomb in the 3rd quarter.
As he begins his collegiate journey, his impact is expected to be just as significant, following in the footsteps of his father, uncle, and big brother. Perhaps that’s why Dayton said, “I really don’t feel like a recruit anymore. I feel like I know everyone in the building there, and sometimes I have to remind myself I’m not in college yet. But that’s how I want it to be, it’s ohana.”
Now, while Dayton prepares to step onto the Nebraska field next season, Nebraska’s star QB Dylan didn’t make time to attend his brother’s Senior Day event.

Dylan Raiola’s absence explored
On October 25, Nebraska hosted Northwestern in a crucial matchup, and that date just clashed with a well-deserved celebration for Dylan Raiola’s brother, Dayton, at his high school. Unfortunately, although the timing meant Dylan couldn’t be there for his younger brother’s big night, he still sent a heartfelt message to Dayton from afar. “Senior night, my dawg. Proud of you! Keep goin’, lil bro,” wrote Dylan.
Moreover, Dylan’s absence on Senior Night seemed to fuel Nebraska on the field. The Huskers bounced back with conviction after back-to-back road games, including a tough loss to Minnesota. Yeah, facing Northwestern, they pulled off a hard-fought 28-21 win to secure bowl eligibility. In that game, Raiola threw 16 of 22 passes for 141 yards, tossing a TD.

Although he threw an interception in that game, his comforting presence was felt in his brother’s game against Collins Hill. While Dylan watched from the sideline, cheering on Dayton, the younger Raiola was busy making waves on the field. In that game, Dayton threw for 103 yards and tossed a TD.
The young Raiola has often spoken about his admiration for Dylan. “So, I mean, I think we both have pretty strong arms. Humbly speaking,” said Dayton. “We both like to throw the deep ball. I think the difference between me and him is that I like to use my legs a little bit more.“
Now, while one is making his way to the NFL, the other is ready to make his mark at Nebraska. Both brothers could rule the NFL in some years.
