More drama ensues in the Bill Belichick and Jordan Hudson relationship timeline. The only other aspect of his life that threatens to overshadow his legendary coaching career is his relationship with the 24-year-old. Of the topics constantly in discussion about the two, the most popular one is their age gap. That’s something both Belichick and Jordan must have anticipated before going public. Neither prepared for things to turn so dark, as a viral clip continues its rounds on social media.
The backdrop for the latest episode in this drama is a viral CBS News interview segment. Bill Belichick was on the broadcaster’s ‘Sunday Morning’ show to promote his new book, The Art of Winning — Lessons from My Life in Football. While Belichick sat on the hot seat, Hudson lingered and resigned towards the side, away from the camera’s notice. However, the source of the chaos is a one-liner that came from an off-camera Hudson. Before Belichick could respond to a question about how they met, Hudson said, “[We’re] not talking about this.”
That’s all it took for skeptics about their relationship to rain down their usual dose of comments. Megyn Kelly of SiriusXM goes to the lengths of labeling the incident as “elder abuse.” She called Hudson an “overly aggressive younger partner” and regarded Belichick in the interview as “a man who’s being taken advantage of.” “And all I could think was his family needs to do an intervention and get this woman off of his back,” Kelly noted. Dave Portnoy, who was also on the show, said the segment had him “squirming.”

Bill Belichick has since released a statement in light of the backlash coming at Hudson for some time now. According to it, Belichick agreed to do PR appearances only if they revolved around his book alone. “Unfortunately, that expectation was not honored during the interview,” the Tar Heels coach mentioned in the statement. “She [Hudson] was not deflecting any specific question or topic but simply doing her job to ensure the interview stayed on track,” he also added.
Jordan Hudson is rarely on the football community’s good side, but that’s not the only source of hate. A particular member of the Belichick family has also pitched in with their comments.

Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law blasts Jordan Hudson for ‘storming off’
Belichick is adamant that Hudson did not act out of line and that the clip creates a “false narrative.” Actress and comedian Nikki Glaser was a rare voice in defense of Hudson, commenting under a Dudes on Dudes reel, “100% this. She’s acting as his publicist. Publicists do this during interviews. People are out for blood.”
Jumping into the conversation was Jennifer Belichick, the veteran coach’s daughter-in-law. She replied to her comment, “Publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview.” Reportedly, Hudson had interrupted the interview multiple times, but this one comment took the spotlight of it all. Analyst Charlotte Wilder also claimed that Hudson had indeed, stormed off of the interview set.
Hudson is also under the spotlight for the role she plays in the Tar Heels operations too. She included Jennifer’s husband and UNC DC, Steve Belichick, in one such case. She had written in an email last year, “Though Steve Belichick is, in fact, Bill’s son, he should be depicted and represented as his own established, credible entity as opposed to an extension to Bill.” Nobody really knows under what capacity she works within the program.
