Things have been going shaky for the Sanders crew lately. And not just regular shaky—we’re talking tectonic plates cracking. Shedeur Sanders goin’ No. 144 in the draft? That alone had folks scratching their heads like, “Did 32 GMs go blind overnight?” But it didn’t stop there. Shilo Sanders? Man didn’t even get drafted. Ended up hitching a ride to Todd Bowles’ Tampa Bay as an undrafted free agent. Coach Prime was already trying to hold it together, watching one son get slept on and the other get straight ghosted. Then boom—Antonio Brown slid in uninvited, stirred the pot, and tried to clown the whole family. AB couldn’t even wait ‘til Monday to let chaos chill. But the Sanders didn’t let it slide, and even Coach Prime’s ex-wife, Pilar Sanders, pulled up with smoke and receipts.

Friday, Brown hopped on X out of nowhere and started talking slick. First, he took shots at Tom Brady over a mental health post. Then he swerved left and lit up Coach Prime and his son Shilo with some 2019 clips. Straight up, AB dropped footage of him cooking Shilo in a one-on-one workout. We talking full roast mode—spin moves, dead legs, full-on sauce. The internet? Oh, it ate that up like hot wings on a Sunday. Memes flew. Folks were chirping, ‘Shilo is going to get cooked in the league.’ But hold up—AB only showed the part where he was sonning Shilo.

Coach Prime took the classy route (at first). He tweeted, “@AB84 Love ya man & I appreciate u my brother. I will never publicly or privately speak negatively on you man regardless of what’s said. You KNOW I know u and I’m holding on & praying for the AB I know. Even when I played corner I ain’t need no help. Lolol. Love ya 2 Life! PRIME.” Basically saying, “You tried it, but I ain’t bout to get messy.”

But then—BOOM—here comes Mama Bear. Pilar Sanders doesn’t say a word at first. Then May 3, she came through with receipts like a tax audit. Hopped on IG and dropped clips of Shilo holding his own, even locking up AB on a rep. Her caption? “I love being a mommy, it seems like we keep everything our babies do. Tho their dad thought it was hoarding, 😂🤣 these things always come in handy. I don’t know,…. what do you mommies out there think?”

And the footage? Shilo didn’t look like a scrub. He mirrored AB on a deep route, stayed in phase, flipped his hips clean, and cut down the comeback like he was reading a playbook. Look, we know AB is one of the nastiest route runners in the past decade, but Shilo showed he has footwork, patience, and IQ. Just because he isn’t draft-bound doesn’t mean he is not real.

So AB tried to clown with a highlight reel. Pilar clapped back with the director’s cut. Shilo got mossed once, or a couple of times, yeah, but he also clamped up one of the best to do it. Context matters. AB out here playin’ 15-second reels like it’s TikTok. Pilar? She dropped that full Netflix doc on him.

What’s your perspective on:

Did Antonio Brown cross the line with his jabs at the Sanders family, or is it fair game?

Have an interesting take?

Antonio Brown throwing strays at Sanders’ family?

Antonio Brown wasn’t done. After the Shilo jab, he doubled back and lit Coach Prime up like Times Square. He posted, “Deion stupid a– tryna be agent, coach, commentator, preacher. Ain’t buyin’ that s—.” Like, man, pick a lane, right? But the thing is—Deion BEEN doing all that. Prime has been Prime since the 90s. Multi-tasking isn’t new. So, for AB to bark now? Kind of reeks of jealousy.

Then AB came for Shedeur’s jersey retirement. Yup. After Dr. Umar made noise about suing the NFL over Shedeur’s draft slide, AB fired back, saying, “If anyone should sue, it’s Kordell Stewart.” Now, facts: Kordell was that QB at Colorado in the 90s. Kordell Stewart’s best run at Colorado came in 1994, when he straight-up lit college football on fire. That year, “Slash” led the Buffs to an 11-1 record and a No. 3 finish in the nation, flexing his dual-threat magic with over 2,000 passing yards and another 600-plus on the ground.

But what really stamped his name into college football lore was The Miracle at Michigan—that wild, last-second 64-yard bomb to Michael Westbrook that stunned the Wolverines in their own house. That one play turned him into a legend overnight. So yeah, Shedeur getting his jersey retired over Kordell Stewart might be a low-key stretch. Gotta give it to AB here.

And AB didn’t stop there. He posted a clip of Shedeur chopping it up with high school kids in Cleveland. Rookie vibes, positive message. But then he hit the caption with some wild, NSFW mess, saying, “Now he su—– d—… this the type of s— they have u do when u go 5th round.” Like, WHAT?! What even is that? Look, folks been speculating AB might have CTE, brain fog, or just a screw loose. But this isn’t even about that anymore. This feels personal. Deion took him in back in the day, gave him mentorship, love, spotlight. Now AB out here returning that favor with low blows? Typical AB.

And here’s the real irony—Prime isn’t even barking back like he could. He staying composed. Letting the universe handle it. Letting Pilar cook. And boy, did she. If anything, this whole saga showed one thing: the Sanders family isn’t folding. They might get hit with slander, but they bounce back harder. Shilo going undrafted isn’t the end. That boy landed on a squad. Shedeur goin’ 144? That just means 31 teams are going to pay when he touches that field. And Coach Prime? Still got the whole college football world watching.

AB? Well, he’s out here throwing rocks at a family that is staying stronger. We’ll see if he gets another haymaker next week. But the Sanders clan? Boy, they ain’t letting disrespect slide like that.
