The Colorado Buffs are going through a rough patch after losing to the Kansas State Wildcats, ending their two-game winning streak. Head coach Deion Sanders is not only facing a tough time with the team, but is also going through personal challenges. After the game, there were rumors of a possible rift between Buffs head coach Deion Sanders and star quarterback Shedeur Sanders. However, with recent events, it turns out that is not the case.
Today Deion Sanders Jr. took to X to put an end to the false narratives surrounding Buffs game execution and also about Shedeur and Deion’s bickering relationship. Sanders Jr. said, “The narratives our own people make up is funny as hell.. Like the QB checks out of all run plays (or any run plays at all). Or that the man is sub dissing the head coach in front of everybody.. shit be comical dawg.”

The rumors began circulating when Buffs head coach Deion Sanders and QB Shedeur Sanders were spotted talking on the sidelines after the game. This was just after he was sacked six times in their game against the Wildcats. And this was enough for the fans to name it as a “heated argument” between the two. This not only showcased Buff’s weak offensive line but also reflected badly on Shedeur’s gameplay as his performance got overshadowed by it.
Even after showcasing remarkable gameplay against the Wildcats, Shedeur, Sanders was in a tough spot last week. During the game, he threw for 388 yards with three touchdowns; the team lost, but Shedeur surely left an impact on the game with a completion rate of 85% of his passes. But what took everyone’s attention was the conversation they were having. However, Deion Sanders has also recently taken a blunt approach to the whole incident.

The rumors became so obvious that Deion Sanders himself had to get involved and resolve the entire mess. Coach Prime took a straightforward approach to addressing the situation. On the 16th of October, Sanders took to his Twitter handle, saying, “My brother, we don’t have heated exchanges. There’s a level of respect the player and the son never crosses. This is good old football and coaching. Good try, though. 👍🏾🙏🏾✅”
