His brother Colton Nussmeier is making his own identity by quickly rising through the high school ranks. Colton Nussmeier is among the top quarterbacks of the class of 2027 and is on the radar of many football powerhouses.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound left-handed prospect is amidst a stellar sophomore season at Marcus High School. He’s starting to turn several heads with big schools flocking in to see the No. 3 ranked quarterback in the country. Colton has now received 15th offers with the latest being from Georgia Tech! Garrett’s younger brother took to X to show his gratitude after receiving the offer.

Colton tweeted, “All Glory to God!! Thankful to have received an offer from Georgia Tech.” Further, he thanked his agency and other people for helping the youngster with his recruiting process. Georgia Tech might be a likely destination for the highly-rated quarterback, but there’s also stiff competition from other schools, such as his brother’s college LSU, which might have an edge.

Also, other top schools like TCU, Baylor, Texas Tech, and Baylor are among the teams trying to land Colton. However, Georgia has been really active in the recruiting trail as they have sent out offers to several offers to prospects and are building good relationships with players, including Colton, trying to secure top players. Garrett’s younger brother and the son of Philadelphia Eagles QB coach Doug Nussmeier is making huge waves already. The Marcus High stud has had a stellar Sophomore season and has racked up several big offers.

The latest is from Georgia Tech, an offer he seems pretty excited about. However, an offer that holds a special place for Colton is the one he received earlier from the LSU Tigers– The same team where his brother is playing his fourth season. As expected, Colton was very excited about receiving the news. But, his brother was thrilled about the announcement as well, “It was cool seeing him tweet out the offer and use a picture of me,” said Colton’s older brother.

But will he follow in his brother’s footsteps? Well, that remains to be seen. At the moment, he’s carving his own path at the same school where his brother started his journey. However, there will be several factors the younger Nussmeier will consider before coming to a conclusion. With that being said, wherever Colton goes, he will surely make a great impact, even if it’s alongside his brother in Louisiana or elsewhere.
