Georgia’s Junior TE, Lawson Luckie, took a nasty hit to the head with under two minutes left to end the first half on an incompletion, with Georgia leading 17-7. He was laid motionless on the field for an extended period of time. Georgia’s training staff attended to Luckie and escorted him to the medical tent, and he didn’t return to the game. This led to Mississippi State DB Jahron Manning being ejected from the field for a targeting penalty.
