For decades, James Earl Jones had a ‘huge’ presence in the Broadway theatre scene—literally and figuratively! A Broadway theatre is even named after him, and in his memoir, Jones described a perfect act as filling “the whole space with sound, movement, emotion, animal presence, and energy.” Standing at 6’2” with his commanding voice, he certainly did this throughout his career.
