Today’s a sad day for the world of college football since they are bearing witness to yet another death of a young player. The names of Andre Seldon Jr., Bryce Stanfield, and Denali Smith, are just some of the many others who are gone too soon from the world due to their health issues. That is what has occurred within the Plowman family since they are mourning the loss of their beloved son today. Jack Plowman was a shining light to all those around him, but unfortunately, the young child met with his untimely end due to cancer.

Gordo High School took to X on 11th September and shared a beautiful image of Jack posing on the gridiron with the most adorable smile ever. Hopefully, his memory will always resonate with the same sort of happiness as this picture of his does. The caption from the school read, “We want to express our sadness over the loss of one of our own. Jack Plowman. He fought to the end. We do not know why he was chosen. Maybe one day we will have that answer.”

A fan took to the comments to express their rage over the ignorance that we as a society have over cancer and wrote, “How many kids have to die from childhood cancer before people take it seriously? Jack was one of Kinsley’s battle buddies! Please pray for his family! 🎗️” Cancer is one of the worst diseases known to mankind, and losing a 15-year-old boy to it must be the biggest form of pain a mother can ever endure. Sending our well wishes and strength to Jack Plowman’s mother, who is being remembered by the entire community today to commemorate Jack’s bravery.

The people come together to pray for Jack Plowman
As per the Facebook page titled, “Jack’s Stronger than Sarcoma,” the little one had been battling Ewing’s Sarcoma for a while. After a long, strenuous war, he tragically bowed out. But the people remember him for his bravery and the legacy he’ll uphold for an entire generation of younger children to look up to.
A user expressed their heartiest condolences to Plowman’s loved ones and wrote, “My condolences 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾”
Another person was shocked to their very core upon hearing the news and commented, “Absolutely devastating news out of Gordo this morning.”
With such a moment of crisis for the Plowman family, they will need all the prayers they can get and thus, this user wrote, “Praying for Jack’s family”
“Fearless” is how this person describes Jack in his comment, which reads, “Jack fought to the end. Fearless. He will be missed.”
Lastly, the entire community of Gordo and Plowman’s loved ones need all the courage they can get during this tough time in their lives. As such, this user’s comment fit perfectly which read, “Prayers to family, friends, teammates and to all of Gordo! ❤️❤️”
Children all over the world are tragically seen fighting cancer at a young age, and while they look up to superheroes and others to come save the day, they tend to forget their own heroism and bravery that is a symbol for everyone to look up to and learn from every single day. Rest in peace, Jack Plowman. Gone but never forgotten.
