Can Jalen Milroe surpass Alabama's NFL legends and carve his own billion-dollar legacy?

Getting named to prestigious watch lists, including the Davey O’Brien Award and the Maxwell Award, is a testament to shining at the national level. Quarterback Jalen Milroe is living up to that. His recent accomplishment of completing 2500 passing yards and 400 rushing yards places him among a rare list of quarterbacks. Every other day, he gets compared with NFL stars such as Lamar Jackson because of his playing style and agility. Whatever his accomplishments, he never forgets to credit the Alabama program and his teammates. “When the world gave up on me, I didn’t give up on myself, and that’s the biggest thing,” Milroe once said. Moreover, in a recent podcast, Milroe talked about how it feels to be with the Crimson Tide and celebrate their recent milestone of generating over $1 billion in NFL talent.

The Crimson Tide have made a massive $1 billion in their offseason NFL contracts. While appearing on The Pivot podcast, Jalen Milroe shared the role Alabama plays in his life. “We are representing the University of Alabama, the state of Alabama, and our families every Saturday that we approach the field. It adds motivation to know when we have workouts we don’t mention it as much publicly or out but as players for the University of Alabama. When we train, we train, of course, to achieve our goals, but we want to make our fans happy.” He further explained that when they play a home game, there is a sense of pride in representing Alabama.

While talking about Alabama, Milroe mentioned an interesting thing. He aims to be the ambassador of the University of Alabama. He will be happy to flex great things about Alabama and the things Alabama does for its players. Milroe added that he joined Alabama because of its well-known excellence, but after living there, he understood what it feels like to be a champion and what it takes to go on the process of seeking excellence. Apart from that, let’s uncover the details of Alabama’s $1 billion NFL deals.

Details of Jalen Milroe’s teammates’ deals leading Bama to a $1 billion NFL contract

The combining of deals from the Crimson Tide star players made it possible for Alabama to receive such an amount in its NFL contracts, which is a huge compliment. Well, it happened after cornerback Patrick Surtain II’s $96 million four-year contract extension. Surtain signed the contract on Wednesday and further added to Alabama’s already-impressive $1 billion number.

Besides that, several other players’ combined efforts led them to their record-breaking position, including Jalen Milroe, but Surtain’s deal has played a major part in it. Furthermore, certain deals are remarkable for Alabama, including a $212 million deal of Tua Tagovailoa with the Miami Dolphins, a $92 million contract of Calvin Ridley with the Tennessee Titans, and Jayden Waddle’s $85 million breakthrough with the Dolphins. Added to that, new deals from fresh faces of Alabama are on their way, which might surpass Bama’s current $1 billion record.
