It’s not just Jaxson Dart who’s the MVP right now. The whole Dart family has been in the spotlight lately. And it’s kind of impossible not to root for them. The rookie New York Giants QB went from being a 3-star QB out of Utah to leading Ole Miss to a 10-3 record in his final collegiate season. And somehow, despite failing to make the playoffs, he leaped to the first round in the 2025 NFL Draft at No. 25 overall. That alone is the kind of leap we don’t see every day. But while the new NFL player is making football headlines, his younger brother is making sure he’s receiving all the love on his special day.

Jaxson Dart’s brother, Diesel Dart, celebrated his birthday on May 13 in his Instagram story. He posted a rear photo of his older brother walking on the field rocking the No. 2. The caption reads, “Twins day 🎉🎂” and below is another heartwarming 3-word message which said everything — “Love ya jax.” Now the “twins” comment raises eyebrows. The public doesn’t know for sure if they actually share the same birthday, but if they do, it’s a rare and special coincidence. Two football brothers celebrating a birthday.

Here’s the thing about Diesel Dart. He’s not just Jaxson Dart’s brother. He’s a standout ATH at Corner Canyon HS, plays both ways, and already has six offers from schools like Arizona, Auburn, BYU, San Diego State, UNLV, and his brother’s alma mater, Ole Miss. At 6’1, 175 pounds, this 2027 prospect is starting to make real noise, even though he’s still technically “unranked” on 247Sports. Corner Canyon won the Utah 6A title in 2024, and the young athlete was everywhere — 44 tackles and an interception on defense and 23 catches for 351 yards on offense.

DC Cody Gardner is extremely high on Diesel Dart — “I’m biased. But this dude is going to explode this summer. P4 guys, you better start building a relationship.” If Ole Miss knows what Jaxson Dart is capable of, they’ll be after his younger brother. And Diesel? He could be glad to land at Oxford after Jaxson’s endorsement — “This program is on the rise. They’re going to continue to get better, and I think it’s just a place where people really want to play.” Hard not to see the younger brother at least giving the Rebels a serious look. After all, family is an important element for the Darts. And the mother-son relationship is something truly beautiful.

Jaxson Dart celebrates mother Kara on her special day

The Dart family is a close-knit one. They all flew with him to Utah to New York after he was selected by the Giants. But for Jaxson Dart, it’s his mother who’s the real MVP. Maybe Kara Dart never intended to be in the spotlight on Draft night, but she low-key stole the show. Cameras caught her celebrating Jaxson’s selection in what felt like a pure, unscripted moment. She wiped away tears as her son hugged her. And just like that, she became a viral sensation. Since then, she’s gone private on IG, but her son gave fans another glimpse of her on Mother’s Day.

Jaxson Dart posted a photo of the whole family in front of a jet. But this post was meant to celebrate Kara on “mommas day.” He dropped a simple “Love you Mom” caption that speaks volumes of a son’s affection for his mother. And you better believe she’s not there just for emotional support. The QB admitted she gives him tips on sliding, fashion advice for pre-game fits, and was even the reason he dropped 52 on Duke in the Gator Bowl in January. “I told my mom I was going to leave everything I had on the field, and I did,” he said.
