This time, it’s a hiking adventure as shared by the 49-year-old father of three on X on January 19. He posted several photos of him with Layla Kiffin, Landry Kiffin, and his close ones. December 2024 was a turning point for the Kiffins. And that began with Layla Kiffin and Knox Kiffin moving to Oxford. But what fueled everything up was their oldest daughter Landry Kiffin’s 20th birthday, which was on December 13. It was in this event that Lane Kiffin posted photos of him and Layla, leading to the spark in their possible reunion after their divorce in 2016.

Kiffin too fueled this speculation when he reposted Layla’s post during their family trip to New York, with the caption, “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.” And this past Christmas had been special.

To top it off, Layla Kiffin joined in the ‘Merry Christmas’ candle game challenge—and you know Lane couldn’t resist sharing that on social media! Layla’s birthday was just a few days later, on January 3rd, and Kiffin shared some heartwarming photos of them celebrating together at the dinner table, further fueling fan speculation. Knox’s 16th birthday also came around soon after, adding to the festive atmosphere!

They say you can tell a lot about a man by how he treats his family. After a season that fell short of expectations—a 10-3 finish—Lane Kiffin seemed to find solace and recharge with his family. Soon after Knox’s 16th birthday on January 13th, he officially welcomed him and Layla back to Oxford. And his caption carries weight—“So excited you will be coming back to the South where it all started 16 years ago!!!! Where God and Family is all that matters!!” 

Coming back to the present, the hike isn’t the only thing pointing to their growing closeness. Just a day back, Lane Kiffin posted a clip of Layla and an 11-year-old boy on his Instagram story as they walked on their treadmills at a similar pace. From cozy homestays to thrilling hikes, Lane Kiffin and Layla Kiffin are making up for lost time. The only thing that’s bugging fans’ minds is—when are they officially going to announce their reconciliation?
