Knox Kiffin isn’t just any high school quarterback. When your dad is Lane Kiffin, your uncle Chris Kiffin is a defensive analyst at Ole Miss, and your grandpa is the legendary Monte Kiffin, the expectations are sky-high. Knox, a Class of 2028 prospect, is already putting in the work, training with the elite 3DQB group in SoCal—a place known for sharpening the mechanics and biomechanics of some of the best QBs in the game. At just 16, colleges are already making him offers. It started last May with SMU, and since then, he’s added six more from Arkansas State, Western Kentucky, Georgia State, Murray State, Sacramento State, and most recently, FIU. Coming from football royalty and already polished in the basics, Knox is definitely a name to watch as those offers keep rolling in, and his latest move just screams home vibes.

Now, according to 247Sports, Knox is set to join the Oxford High School program in June for his sophomore season, putting him directly in the Ole Miss backyard and under an even brighter microscope. While it’s far too early to project rankings, this many early offers speak louder than stars ever could. The 6-foot-tall quarterback from Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA, spent his freshman year at Palos Verdes High School in his hometown.

“LFG. The band is all back together. Pops is smiling. @OleMissFB,” Knox tweeted, showing a level of awareness and excitement well beyond his years. For the record, his dad’s coaching at Ole Miss, his sister Landry’s already a student there, and another sibling, Presley, is heading to USC for volleyball. But Knox? He’s packing his bags for Oxford, Mississippi, moving from the sun-kissed beaches of Palos Verdes to the heart of SEC country—with older sister Layla reportedly relocating with him.

Last season, at Palos Verdes High School, Knox’s team wrapped up with a respectable 6-5 record, but his transfer to Oxford High could open new doors—especially in a football-mad state like Mississippi. According to On3, Oxford ranks No. 34 in the state. It’s a program with tradition, talent, and now—maybe—a future Kiffin under center. Sure, he’s still a long way from Saturdays at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

In a heartfelt moment on The Pivot, Kiffin opened up about his children relocating from the sun-soaked streets of Manhattan Beach, California, to the heart of the South.

“My daughter (Landry) ended up moving here by choice in high school from Manhattan Beach, California to Oxford, Mississippi to come live with me,” Kiffin said. “I don’t think that would’ve happened before. And now, my son is doing it by choice. And then my daughter stayed here for college when she could’ve gone other places.”

That’s some serious Magnolia State loyalty right there. Now, with his son Knox joining him in Oxford, the Kiffin crew is fully embracing the Rebel lifestyle. Knox is already turning heads, dropping an absolute bomb during a recent workout in the greater Los Angeles area. Being close to Dad only ups the ante.
