LaNorris Sellers’ NIL valuation has grown significantly over the last ten weeks. According to the latest reports by On3Rivals, Sellers’ NIL valuation has increased by $ 179,000 over the past 10 weeks. This increase has raised the gross amount to $3.5m. The surge of $179,000 in his NIL valuation is due to the three major high-profile sponsorship deals he signed in the summer of 2025.

On Aug 19, he signed a partnership with Beats by Dre. While on aug 24, he secured another major partnership with T-Mobile. And in June, he signed with Racing Canes. All these deals have taken him to the bracket of elite talents commanding hefty NIL portfolios.

Meanwhile, LaNorris Sellers’ performance has seen a major downfall as he has a completion rate of 61.7% for 1,536 yds with 7 TDs. This is a stark difference from his numbers in 2024. Last season, he recorded 196 passes for 2,534 yards at a 65.6% completion rate with 18 TDs. He has been guilty of trying to do everything on his own. All this has contributed to him becoming a target for the doubters as the Gamecocks go through one of their worst seasons, languishing at the bottom of the SEC with a 3-6 record.

This has led to Shane Beamer firing the OL Coach Lonnie Teasley and offensive coordinator Mike Shula. While saying, “I believe in LaNorris and certainly we all need to be better, there’s no question about it,” Beamer said. “Competition is a core value of this program, but LaNorris Sellers gives us a chance to win football games, and it’s our job to help him. He’ll be better.” Further demonstrating the intent to help him improve and providing a much-needed update on his future.

LaNorris Sellers’ Assessment of the Ole Miss Game

LaNorris Sellers had a dismal outing against the #7-ranked Ole Miss Rebels. He threw for 180 yards with 1 touchdown for a completion rate of 53.3% with 2 interceptions, and got sacked 6 times.  The sacks underlined recurrent issues faced by the Gamecocks’ weak OL. The OL issues are one of the many they have experienced throughout this season. It became clearer from Sellers’ post-match comments as he didn’t shy away from taking responsibility while simultaneously calling his teammates out.

When asked about the OL, Sellers replied, “They did well. They’re getting better.” His comment is a reflection on the way the OL has struggled and has been comparatively better in recent games. Though it wasn’t much of an improvement, as they allowed 6 sacks, giving up position and pressuring their QB into making rushed passes. He also addressed the issue of the Offense feeling frustrated after enduring a season like this. “Yeah, I think we all are. We know how good we can be, and we’re just not getting it done. We’ve got to get it done.”

Although LaNorris Sellers sounded optimistic when questioned about their bowl aspirations. “Just get back to work, get those three wins, get to a bowl game”. He said, underlining the last ray of hope and chance of redemption they have left in the camp, as winning their last three games would help them make it to the Bowl. That way, they end the season on high. For which they will have a bye week to prepare. He ended the interview on a good note while talking about the pressure they are feeling.”I don’t know. I think we’ve just got to do more. We need to play better. We need to all get on the same page. It takes all 11.”
