Ever wonder if people married to artists actually consume their beau’s art for themselves? I mean, it’s got to be a weird dynamic. An individual’s taste in music, for instance, is almost sacrilegious to them. In the case of Deiondra Sanders, her fiancee and R&B singer Jacquees is right up there in the pecking order. However, he’s not at the top of the pile!

December brings about a lot of traditions. Christmas, Hanukkah and even the College Football Playoffs. One modern tradition that the masses wait all year for is their Spotify Wrapped. As hyperbolic as that sounds, it rings true. So when Deiondra posted her version of the annual shortlist, it was equal parts adorable and funny.

Deiondra Sanders took to IG to post a story of her “Top Artists” in 2024. At no.2 was Jacquees; however, no.1 was the glaring inclusion. “Calm Baby Music”, read the top pick. That’s truly etched in realism for a new mother. Deiondra gave birth to her first-born Snow, earlier this year. The caption of the post read, “I’m such a mom and a fiancee”.

This revelation is as real as it gets. You may indeed enjoy listening to your partner’s music on your own accord. You may even be their biggest fan. But when push comes to shove, it’s all hands on deck for the baby. “Calm Baby Music” sure is one piece that perhaps goes a long way in the complicated puzzle that is raising an infant.

No.3 in the list is the trap-genre icon Future. With Deiondra Sanders being born in Atlanta, that should come as no surprise. Jacquees, too, is a Georgia native and has tracks featuring Future in his catalogue. At the 4th spot is another Atlanta-based hip-hop artist, Issa. Coincidentally or not, he also has previously released music in tandem with Jacquees. Perhaps Deiondra’s love for her fiancee’s music runs deeper than is conspicuous on a surface level. Alas, it is still not enough to muster past some generic tunes meant for soothing a crying baby!

Deiondra Sanders makes demands to father Deion in light of his success

With Christmas around the corner, it poses to be a special one this time around for the Sanders’ clan. It will be the first one with a new member of the family. Baby Snow will inadvertently get showered with a plethora of gifts. It’s not as if the likes of Deion Sanders have to worry about budgeting. However, his kids- including Deiondra- are privy to some bonus zeroes kicking in after his escapades in Boulder.

Turns out that although he doesn’t have a playoff berth to show for it, Coach Prime’s success on the sideline wasn’t in vain whatsoever. A Bowl game aside, he has garnered a cool $600,000 in bonuses. After learning of this information, eldest daughter Deiondra posted a cheeky message on X.“👀 @DeionSanders Christmas should be great 😬🙌.” , she said.

The buoyant nature of this interaction highlights the beautiful father-daughter dynamic they share. With her own motherhood now a huge part of her life- taking over her own music habits in the process- Deiondra hopes to share a similar dynamic with her son Snow going forward.
