Remember what happened on one of the previous episodes of ESPN’s College GameDay? When Nick Saban‘s wife, Miss Terry, amazed everyone with her deep insights about college football games and teams. Her predictions turned out to be true, and she even left Saban behind in accurately guessing the winning teams that day. And remember how she was shocked after listening to Saban’s pick against the Buffs and Deion Sanders favoring UCF? Miss Terry swiftly jumped in between and defended Coach Prime. “I got your back, Deion,” she said.

Now the college game day crew is back again at doing what they do! They are right here predicting the week seven games of the 2024 college football game. And Nick Saban, as he always does, has been cracking jokes and making everyone laugh. This time, while predicting the winners of the upcoming game between the Colorado Buffs and Kansas State, he said, “I like Colorado as well. I’m not going to go against my man Dion anymore,” and everyone busted into laughter cause they knew why Saban was saying that. The last time he went against them, even though his wife supported them, they won that game.

Although Saban was saying that out of his enormous experience of the game, it seemed like he did not want to face the booing he got last time. The clip from the college GameDay where Saban just said this is taking rounds among the netizens and it was shared by Kobe Bryant on his official ‘X’ page.

He wrote, “Colorado vs Kansas State predictions: 5/5 picked Colorado to win, including Nick Saban #SkoBuffs.” with that, we know that everyone predicted Colorado to win against Kansas State. Now let’s look at the reasons they gave for choosing the Buffs and Deion Sanders over Kansas State.

Analysts agreed to Nick Saban’s Colorado pick

Desmond Howard picked the Buffs after saying, “I think that their team has just found their groove, so to speak, after the Nebraska loss. I like Colorado in the very close game.” Howard is right. The Buffs have not looked back since that Nebraska loss. Back-to-back wins, and they’re 4-1. They must be ready to roll against Kansas State, given they’re coming off a bye week.

Saban also added to the same notion by supporting Deion Sanders. To that, Pat MacAfee also added his admiration for the Buffs, saying, “I like Colorado to go on a run in the wide-open Big 12.”

What’s your perspective on:

Did Nick Saban finally learn his lesson about betting against Deion Sanders and the Buffs?

Have an interesting take?

Kirk Herbstreit also agreed with everyone else and said, “I’m going, Colorado against Kansas State’s secondary. Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter will be the difference in the game with big plays through the air.

That’s true because every Colorado fan is expecting at least an easy win against their opponents, especially from the Heisman candidate Travis Hunter.
