A few months ago, NFL star player Cam Newton took a jab at Shedeur Sanders, claiming that he is not worthy of being a top-four pick in the 2025 NFL draft. Following this, in today’s episode of 4th & 1 With Cam Newton, Cam expressed his opinion on his behavior and also took a NIL shot at Shedeur Sanders, saying, “There’s a lot to hate Cam Newton about, and I think the thing that I’ve been at peace with is like Bro, the day that they allowed NIL to be legal, you’re no longer an amateur anymore. That’s all that really happened. He said something, personally, I didn’t agree with. We talked about it, and we had a great conversation.” It looks like there is nothing much of a concern on Shedeur’s side.

Moving forward, Shedeur Sanders also mentioned that he is still working in areas where he lacks specifically to let go of his grudges and forgiving people. “I just got to work in areas of my life about forgiving. That’s what Dad teaches me overall.” Shedeur Sanders might’ve gone a bit overboard, but considering Cam Newton’s past comments, his reaction isn’t entirely out of line.
