All the superiority attached to the name Jalen Milroe has come to a brutal halt since the QB phenom started moving under the radar in the recent Alabama games. The entire Bama squad has failed to live up to their trademark standard since the Georgia game and so is Milroe. The trouble that started to emerge in their failed Vols expedition with a sloppy 40-35 could only scale up in the latter week. Another setback against Tennessee made Kalen DeBoer an overnight meme material over the internet. But as they say, the most beautiful thing about time is that it changes. The Tide is rolling back to the game. The double-digit comeback against Missouri is enough to make us believe so. To boot, it seems Jalen Milroe, too, is unloading some pressure of allegations from his shoulder after weeks of humiliation. But NFL Great has a contrasting take.

During Alabama’s breakdown against the Vols, Jalen Milroe took most of the flakes. He finished 55.6% of his throws, his lowermost stat for the season. But the critics didn’t only target his poor numbers, rather the prodigy took the blame for undermining Ryan Williams’ growth and shine inside the team. Veterans called out how the constant targeting with difficult passes from Milroe sabotaged the young freshman’s (Ryan William) room to bloom.
The scene got to be the same for the Tide’s next eye-opening loss against Tennessee. Finally, the Campbell award nominee fired back to the heat, putting on a breathtaking performance against the Mizzou. But the past faults continue to sting as NFL great Shannon Sharpe noted, ”Jalen Milroe has to understand that the team is not good enough to overcome his mistakes.”

The blame ideally should go to the collective and not just Milroe alone. Nonetheless, the Alabama defense worked a lot on their loopholes to evade a second-half disaster against Missouri and whooped the opponent with a relentless performance. While the Mizzou quarterback tried to seize their chance from the middle of the defense with the run game, they returned empty-handed. That said, it’s time for the Tide defense to mature. Looking at the past game and their inability to cover up for Milroe’s shortcomings, the Nightcap host added, “A young defense, they’re not good enough, this team is not equipped to come from and to overcome,” when Milroe turned it over. Heck, both the defense and the man in the spotlight were unstoppable through the last game.

Jalen Milroe stunned the crowd with a stellar performance
After a lackluster start to the game, the Alabama Crimson Tide started to stage a banger against the Missouri Tigers, leaving the Bryant-Denny Stadium in complete awe. Kicking off the second half with a 14-yard completion to Kendrick Law, Milroe got a lot of eyeballs to his legs that did all the magic. Facing 2nd and 8 from the Alabama 36-yard line, Milroe rushed for 32 yards to the Missouri 32-yard line, marking the fifth play of 20 yards or more for the team. But it was just the beginning.
Milroe, 21, quashed out CJ Dippre for 23 yards to take up the Mizzou 9-yard line for a goal. The cynosure moment hit when he reversed the field and posted a striking nine-yard touchdown run.

We should just believe when DeBoer said in a pre-game media call, ”There’s nothing that’s going to be holding him back from going out there and being able to help us get a win. I’m confident of that.”
