A kind of storm identified as category 5 has affected larger areas around the Gulf of Mexico. And as we know, this kind of natural disaster is unpredictable; only God can ensure our safety. It’s being called an “extremely life-threatening situation” by the National Hurricane Center. This sudden change in weather has caused difficulties all around the place and many of the football stars have already expressed their heartfelt support for the Florida people. Carson Beck‘s girlfriend has also expressed her prayers.
Beck’s girlfriend, Hanna Cavinder, shared a story on her Instagram page, writing, “Dear God, I come before you in prayers desperately seeking your help for those that are in need of it. There are many people suffering due to this natural disaster.” The basketball player showcased her faith in God by sharing this story.
Further in her post, she writes, “I ask that you please cover those that are being affected by this hurricane. Grant them solace in the midst of this storm. Please use your supernatural powers to calm the waters and wind down.” That’s actually what everyone is praying right now to the almighty, who has control over everything, to stop this disaster right now.

She went ahead and wrote a few lines about the people who were affected by this. “Allow all the people that are being affected in this very moment to lean on you during this tough time. I pray that you supply them with all their needs and make a way for them to stay sheltered. Most importantly, please keep each and every one experiencing this hurricane safe and sound. this storm shall pass. I thank you for all that you do now and will continue doing. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.”

Furthermore, with a speed of 165 mph, the storm was headed toward Florida’s western coast. and the same areas that were affected by Helene around 12 days ago will receive more damage if the storm hits the coast. Week seven games rescheduled because of Hurricane Milton
Severe weather, particularly Hurricane Milton, has disturbed the whole schedule of college football season as well. Although Florida State and Miami have bye weeks in week 7, USF and UCF were ready to roll in the home games at Tampa and Orlando, respectively. However, the schedules might get delayed because of it.

USF’s game against Memphis was set to be played on Friday; however, given the current scenario, it’s now shifted to Saturday. Moreover, Florida football and Tennessee’s upcoming game in Knoxville might not directly be impacted by the storm, but travel logistics can be.
Added to that, the University of Colorado against Kansas State game will not have any impact on the storm, but there are chances for cooler weather and light rainfall in Colorado.
