It’s not a good day to be a baseball fan. See, death is a natural part of life, but when it comes too early, it always tends to break millions of hearts in its wake. Being naturally good in baseball, Jake Stromsborg was one solid player when it came down to pitching or hitting. Most of the time, you’d find him playing on the field, and on days when he was not, he was spending his hours watching footage of pros.

Back on Instagram, Landry shared a collage of her and Jake on her story. “Rest in peace, sweet boy,” Landry wrote. When one of Stromsborg’s close friends shared a post on Instagram, with multiple snaps of Jake together with his friends and having fun, Landry left a sweet comment. “So much love,” Landry mentioned. From the amount of concern and love people have showered, proves the fact that Jake was an amazing person.

Even his coach, Mark Pfau, noted how great of a guy Jake was and how he managed to impact the lives of everyone around him. “Jake’s impact went beyond his stats,” Pfau had mentioned while talking about the entire incident. .

Lane Kiffin’s son Knox Kiffin also took to his Instagram story to share a snap of him and Jake with the caption; “Rest in peace, love u bro.” With all the love and support that has been pouring in, it ain’t no wonder Jake’s best friend Raffi Titizian mentioned, “He was the kind of guy who would always have your back.”

A year of losses for the Kiffin family

2024 has not been kind to the Kiffin household. We just told you about Landry Kiffin losing a close friend. In July this year, Landry lost her grandfather, Monte Kiffin, a celebrated coach in the world of football. Lane Kiffin, Monte’s son, had the pleasure of working with his father in a few of his coaching gigs.

We regularly see Lane remembering his father in his social media posts. If Ole Miss gets a victory, Lane Kiffin makes sure that he pays a tribute to his father. In that context, the win over the Bulldogs was extra special. Last year, after the same game had gone in the opposite manner, Monte Kiffin had told his son, “We’ll get this thing turned around. You’re going to beat Georgia next year.”

We hope that the Kiffin family has all the strength to deal with these losses.
