Today, @JaKi took to X to share Rich Eisen’s thoughts on Hunter’s chances of getting the Heisman trophy, saying, “If he doesn’t win, it will be anti-Deion bias. He is playing with every snap. His routes are second to none, and he plays defense lights out. I swear he is going to do this in the pros.” It seems that even Eisen thinks that if Travis doesn’t win, it will be solely because of bias rather than his skills in the game.

Even the two-way phenom echoed the same in an episode of ‘Kickin It With Dee,’ on why he might not win the Heisman. “I could be at the top of their list. They are just not saying anything. And I can also be at the bottom of the list because they just don’t like who my coach is,” Hunter said. It’s an undeniable fact that college football somehow hates Deion Sanders. However, it doesn’t seem fair to punish a player like Travis Hunter for that reason.
