One of the top highlights for the Colorado vs North Dakota State clash is the third touchdown that Travis Hunter made after catching a pass from Shedeur Sanders. It was an impossible catch that stunned the college football world and other big names in the sports industry. It even earned the two-way star the title of The Glitch of EA Sports College Football 25

Shedeur Sanders threw four touchdown passes out of which Hunter accounted for three. While he caught all the passes in incredible fashion, his last one was nothing short of a glitch. It became the main headliner for the Colorado vs NDSU game on Thursday night. But what not many people know is that he put on the weight of pressure on himself just before that incredible game-winning catch.

Shedeur and Travis Hunter gave each other a bit of a challenge before Hunter’s final 3-yard TD for Colorado. Before that play began, the QB was upset with Hunter as he revealed in his postgame conference speech. Shedeur shared a post by Deion Sanders Jr. on X on August 31 with the caption “Legendary.” The post featured Hunter stating why he had to make that impossible play. He said, “It’s funny because [Shedeur] got on me for not catching the one that we called the flag because I told him to throw me the ball no matter what…

In the video, Shedeur Sanders demanded, “IDGAF. Catch it.” Hunter then said, “So that one, I just knew I had to catch the ball. I had no other choice, no other option so whatever I had to do to get the ball, I was going to get it.” And he delivered! Hunter proved his athletic abilities when he caught the pigskin by his fingertips in a tight coverage. And while the Buffs celebrate their opener victory, Shedeur doesn’t dare remain complacent.

Shedeur Sanders has higher goals

One victory isn’t enough and Shedeur Sanders knows that. He put up some remarkable numbers out there with 445 yards and four TDs in their 31-26 victory over NDSU. He finished 26 of 34 passes with a passer rating of 219.4, which is a great feat. But despite this, the 22-year-old continues to set higher goals.

Speaking about his big win during the conference, Shedeur Sanders said, “It was cool. But every incompletion, it hurts me inside a little bit. I’m excited for the win, but (there are) definitely situations in that game I personally could’ve handled better.” Moving forward, the potential Heisman candidate will have plenty of games to turn his legendary vision into reality.
