So, we are back with the Buffs. We all know that after this massive season is over for Deion Sanders, his son (Shedeur Sanders) is off to the NFL. Now this creates a tricky situation for Coach Prime and Shedeur Sanders. See, Deion has been very vocal about where he wants his son to land. Coach Prime has even gone on to say that he will pull an Eli Manning stunt if he feels Shedeur Sanders is being drafted onto the wrong team. However, that doesn’t mean Coach Prime has no favorites. Over the last few months, one NFL giant has consistently managed to make an appearance whenever the Shedeur Sanders draft topic has been brought up. Who is it, you wonder?

The $6.7 billion giant Las Vegas Raiders. This shouldn’t be a shocker to die-hard Buffs fans. We all know that Deion loves the Raiders. He has gone on to defend HC Antonio Pierce on one occasion when a news outlet snubbed the coach as one of the worst. However, that ain’t the only thing that makes this Shedeur-Raiders linking so strong. See, the young QB took to X after the Raiders lost to the Dolphins 34-19 and mentioned, “Thank you GOD.” Now, why are we bringing this up? Put on your tin foil hats cause this is about to get good. A few weeks back, we covered a theory Pat McAfee had discovered regarding the Shedeur and Raiders thing.

Back on the Pat McAfee Show, McAfee mentioned, “The internet has reported that after every Raiders loss, Shedeur Sanders has put out thank you God tweets.” While you might call it a far-fetched conclusion, this analysis does make some sense. See, patterns don’t lie, and this pattern has been repeated for some time now.

Even if we don’t want to follow this theory, we can also go back to the Aces vs Liberty WNBA game. Shedeur had a chance to talk with Raiders owner Mark Davis. Do you know what Davis told the QB? “You might be home right now.” Doesn’t this make you scratch your head as well?

While the drafts are still far away, Shedeur in the Raiders works. Pierce and Co. have been trying to find their identity for some time now and grabbing the Buffs QB makes sense because not only does he bring in some solid skills, he has the fame and the Sanders name linked to him. HOWEVER. There is one other contender who might end up gunning it for Shedeur Sanders.

Shedeur Sanders in Dallas

See, a few days back, Paul Finebaum, out of all the people, made a very solid analysis. “Deion couldn’t even get a call from Florida State a couple of years ago. But to be fair, what had he done then? Right, he’s now one of the hottest coaches in the country,” Finebaum had mentioned while talking about Deion’s long-lost coaching opportunity at FSU.

However, what he says next lights up some bulbs. “He’s beaten the odds, you know, good time to get out,” Finebaum mentioned. This was a direct hint that Deion Sanders was a perfect fit for the Cowboys. Now, how is this linked to Shedeur? You have to keep in mind that if Jerry Jones decides to kick off Mike McCarthy and bring in Coach Prime, they will also need to find a replacement for Dak Prescott.

And look at that: they have the perfect setting for this change. Prescott is out with a season-ending injury, and McCarthy has managed to lead the team into a horrendous 3-6 run this season. With Deion and Shedeur both in, Jones will not only get the skills the team lacks but also get the social media fame and following “Prime Time” and Shedeur have.
