Deion Sanders had one heck of a ride last weekend. Not only did his “revamped” offensive line crumble like biscuits under pressure, but his D-line also failed him. Allowing the Wildcats to rush more than a run-heavy team like the Knights, the Buffs were in a bad spot. Adding insult to injury was the fact that Deion Sanders lost 2 of his best players in the first half of the game (Travis Hunter and Jimmy Horn Jr.)

But the worst blow was Omarion Miller‘s season-ending injury. Out with an ACL, Miller is supposed to be Coach Prime’s next big player after Hunter leaves for the NFL. Still, all is not lost because there is one more Buffs commit who is coming back to the game. WE Coming took to X an update regarding a Buffs freshman. “Colorado Freshman WR/CB Kam Mikell had a successful surgery,” WE Coming mentioned. Kam Mikell was due for surgery for a long time. While it is still unknown why he needed to go through medical treatment, it is clear that he is going to be the next big thing for Colorado.

Against the Wildcats, it was Miller-Shedeur who kept the dream alive for Deion Sanders. Now, a 4-star commit coming from Statesboro is going to be Shedeur Sanders‘ new spark. With the speed this guy manages to clock in (as seen from his earlier performance back in 2022 and 2021) Shedeur is going to have a fine time connecting with Mikell.

We have yet to see him on the turf with the boys, but that time is gonna come soon. For now, Coach Prime and Co. are still recovering from the tragedy that Miller suffered. This dude had a ton of promise and skill and it is sad to see him miss out the rest of the season.

The upcoming Arizona game is gonna be Deion Sanders’ redemption. He has to redeem Miller and with Hunter and Horn both coming back, it should be a walk in the park for Coach Prime and Co.

Coach Prime and Co. are coming

Without Hunter and Horn, Shedeur still managed to stand tall and make plays from the pocket. If this doesn’t prove that he is more than capable enough of being the top QB in CFB, then we don’t know what does. Shedeur kept the boys in the game till the very end. The Buffs only lost because the defense failed to stop the final rush from the Wildcats.

Now, imagine this, Hunter and Horn are both back for the Arizona game and they are here with a fire in their hearts. In Outta Pocket, Hunter kept it real and made sure everyone knew that he was coming back with all he got. People, we are about to see some peak Hunter performance on the turf this weekend.

And alongside him, Horn also sent a clear message that he would do anything for Deion Sanders and his “dawgs“. This combined talent, along with Shedeur’s growth as a QB, should make it an easy game for the Buffs. The only thing left for Coach Prime to do is change up the offense.
