When the former First Lady of Texas nods her head in approval, you nailed the outfit! We’ve all seen Texas HC Steve Sarkisian’s style improve over the years. And there’s one woman to give credit to—his ex-wife, Loreal Sarkisian, who’s an accomplished wardrobe stylist and philanthropist. So a nod from her is high praise, especially when you’re also a fashionista like Nick Saban‘s daughter.

Attending the Iron Bowl in a chic grey-white overcoat dress and black leather boots, Kristen Saban’s style only keeps improving. In her latest post on Instagram on December 1, she posted her style in the backdrop of the Bryant-Denny Stadium field with the caption, “Never fumbled a game day fit.” This won the attention of Loreal Sarkisian, who dropped a like on the post.

Kristen Saban is always dressed for the occasion. Last year, she rocked an all-black outfit to the big Alabama-Auburn rivalry game, which a fan described as “dressed for the funeral of Auburn.” And true, Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide buried the Tigers in a 27-24 defeat. This season just got better under Kalen DeBoer as far as the Iron Bowl is concerned.

Under DeBoer’s first year as Nick Saban’s replacement, Alabama surpassed last year’s winning record with 28-14. This also marked the first time since 2001 that an Alabama HC won the Iron Bowl on their first try. Even Saban didn’t beat Auburn in his first year in Tuscaloosa in 2007. With their prominent win, Alabama’s record improved to 9-3. But the question is whether Kristen Saban will get a chance to dress for the playoffs.

Can Alabama make the playoffs as a 3-loss team?

Alabama messed up their SEC Championship hopes when they miserably fell 24-3 against underdog Oklahoma. Following that loss, they hung just outside the AP Poll Top 12 at No. 13. But after ending their regular season with their big rivalry win, they have a glimmer of hope to reach the playoffs even as a 3-loss team.

No. 12 Clemson and Alabama’s fight for a playoff berth is settled. The Tigers lost to South Carolina, and even potential playoff contender Miami lost to Syracuse. With these ACC teams out of the playoff picture, the Crimson Tide has a good chance to fill in considering their strength of schedule this season. But conclusions will only come on December 3, when the latest CFP rankings are released. Hopefully, it’ll be in the favor of Kristen Saban, who’ll get another chance to impress those who have eyes for beauty.
