The Alabama Crimson Tide crushed the Badgers and buried them deep into the Camp Randall Stadium with a brutal defeat. More disappointing than the loss, the Wisconsin team saw their star quarterback Tyler Van Dyke being severely injured which may or may not end his season for this year. Talking about the injury report, Luke Fickell, the HC for Wisconsin said, “We’ll get a little more clarity hopefully here soon, get an MRI and things like that. I don’t think it looks real good for us, for him.” It’s a sad day for Wisconsin fans today, but even sadder for the quarterback who might not have the jersey for the rest of the season.

Wisconsin Badgers lost one of their pivotal players when Tyler Van Dyke had to be charted off the field in the first quarter after he suffered a right knee injury. He went out of bounds after he got hit, and the number 10 player looked to be in severe pain as he was being driven to the locker room. The fans in Wisconsin were distraught to see the youngster potentially suffer a season-ending injury, and now, social media is being swarmed with concerns and worries for Van Dyke.

Dang.” More and more empathetic comments started to flood in for Van Dyke, and then realizing that he could probably be out for the entire 2024 season. Then, Braedyn Locke came in to replace Van Dyke, who is a sophomore for the Badgers this season. As of now, the fans of the Badgers are sending in their thoughts and wishes for Van Dyke to come back healthier and stronger from this injury, though it seems like a far-fetched possibility.

Before joining the Badgers this season, Van Dyke played for the Miami Hurricanes through the 2020-2023 seasons. During his time with the Hurricanes, he suffered a Morel-Lavallee lesion in his right knee in the 2023 season against North Carolina but later returned to be the wind behind the Hurricanes. Additionally, he suffered a third-degree AC joint sprain in his right shoulder during the 2022 season as well.

A fan expressed his sympathy for Van Dyke’s plight and wrote, “Oof 🙏🙏 prayers up”
