And the reason is UConn’s transfer wide receiver, Skyler Bell. Ahh, you heard it right. The biggest problem Michigan faced this season was on their offensive side with the quarterback. Now, after having the nation’s number one quarterback, Bryce Underwood, in the squad, Michigan is looking to bolster its offensive side with Bell.

Michigan’s insider shed light on the same and mentioned, “UConn transfer wide receiver Skyler Bell visited Michigan on Sunday. As well, he was joined by Ron Bellamy, and he was visiting Michigan. As per his Instagram, he is a 6′ 185 lb. wide receiver from UConn. This past season, he had 47 receptions, 783 yards, and four touchdowns.” The statistics are impressive. In the initial weeks of the season, Moore and Ron Bellamy cracked their weekness in O-Line but will Bell be the right fit?

Looks like so! The insider further shed light on Bell’s accomplishments and his abilities and added, “He also played for Wisconsin from the 2021 season through the 2023 season before transferring to UConn, so he does have some Big Ten experience there, as Michigan’s still looking to add one or two more wide receivers from the transfer portal, which would definitely be huge, so it was definitely a big weekend for Michigan hosting multiple transfer portal targets.”

Mikey Keene joins Bryce Underwood

Although we saw Michigan struggling this season. Moore made sure to bounce back and develop the trust of fans with his strategies during the recruiting process. Bryce Underwood’s story is a living example. Hold on! Does Michigan have one more quarterback joining them this season? Well, yes. Former Fresno State quarterback Mikey Keene made a big move and announced his transfer to Michigan for the 2025 season.

During Keene’s conversation with On3 on Monday, he made the big announcement. The young talent is already on his third college team. He kicked off his career at UCF, where he played for two seasons and racked up impressive stats: 2,377 yards, 23 touchdowns, and just seven interceptions over 15 games while completing 65.6% of his passes.
