On 2nd September, Yahoo Sports released post-Week 1 Heisman Trophy Odds with Dillon Gabriel from the Oregon Ducks as the leading contender in the race. With other names like Carson Beck and Cam Ward being on the list, the fans were shocked to their core to see Hunter not even making it to the top 10.

The Heisman Odds list was released by BET MGM and though it included Shedeur Sanders in the bottom 5, his teammate and the two-way talent Hunter is nowhere to be seen. Additionally, Shedeur’s rival QB for this season, Carson Beck seems to be doing well for himself with ‘+750’ odds, but this means that Travis will have to up the antes a little more to be a part of the Heisman conversation.
