“Noticing how Bucky just subtracted his pride, subtracted his ego, and became what he needed to become for his brother and for you guys. That right there stood out to me so much. I even tell him to this day.” Before Lil Wayne uttered this statement, not many people knew the contributions of Deion Jr. to the Buffs and his family in general. The eldest brother always remained in the shadows, doing those heroics with his ‘WellOffMedia’ company and defending his brothers from every troll and every criticism. This time, too, Bucky has donned his protective gear and jumped on social media to tackle those trolls.

The relationship between Deion Jr. and his brothers has always been a bond stronger than steel, built on deep-rooted loyalty and hilarious banters. We see this in the constant repartees the brothers have amongst them, or when Shilo pulls his leg with his pranks. For instance, just a few days ago, Shilo was streaming live and straight up dialed Bucky’s number and bluntly demanded 20 grand. “Send me $20,000 right now, Bucky, Bucky send me $20,000 right now or I’m leaking your number right now.”

But Bucky wasn’t quite surprised. After all, he is not a stranger to Shilo’s notorious pranks. Deion Jr. calmly said, “Hey, don’t worry about the money.” But Shilo wasn’t going to back down and pressed Bucky to give him $20,000 or get his number leaked. Deion Jr. quickly submitted to Bucky’s prank and said, “I go back 20 racks, just hang on a little.” While Deion Jr. can match his brothers’ humour beat for beat, his role also carries quiet authority and protectiveness.

Take, for example, the recent incident when Deion Jr. was hosting his regular live chats on his YouTube channel. One of the users demanded that Bucky dial up Shedeur. But Deion Jr. knew it to be another troll and quickly asked the user to back off and leave Shedeur alone. “Why will I call my brother for your amusement when they should be sleeping or studying the playbook?” said Bucky. And guess what? Bucky is right, Shedeur is knee deep in cramming up that playbook and watching tapes.

Ever since Shedeur went to the Browns, the QB looks determined and is looking to make amends for his draft snub. He is deliberately avoiding the spotlight and focusing on practices, instead of giving heed to unnecessary distractions. Even when the Browns organized their rookie minicamp, Shedeur quickly emerged to be the leader and even denied any rift in the QB room due to competition. “It’s just so funny. We’re on the same team,” Sanders said with a smile beaming on his face, and showed leadership with his next take.

People try to put us against each other, but inside the room, we know we are one.” Even the Cleveland Browns’ coach, Kevin Stefanski, praised Shedeur for the work ethic he is showing. “He’s in there early, he’s getting his work done. He’s working really, really hard.” The coach concluded his statement by saying, “I like everything there is about Shedeur.” Well, right now, Shedeur has a long way to go since there are 3 QBs at least ahead of him. But with time and hard work, that journey won’t be too far, either.

Is Deion Jr. the unsung hero behind the Sanders family's success, or just a social media genius?

Have an interesting take?

NFL exploits in the pipeline for Deion Jr?

Well, most people in Colorado are now aware of Deion Jr’s incredible social media exploits. Not only did Bucky help the Buffs grow their social media footprint by almost 500%. But the guy gave us an exclusive channel dedicated to the behind-the-scenes look at Colorado. His social media outreach was one of the reasons why the Buffs managed to register their game against Kansas in the top 25 watched games of the season last year. But now Deion Jr is doing the same for Shedeur, and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell seems impressed.

Well, Bucky was doing his regular live streams, and one of the users asked that he cover the exploits of Shedeur and his brother Shilo in the NFL. Guess what? According to Buck, he is already planning to cover Shedeur in the NFL and even remarked that Roger Goodell permitted him to do so. “The commissioner gave me access to record in the NFL.” Said Bucky.

His friend and WR Travis Hunter has quite a following on both YouTube and Instagram, but still hasn’t taken over Bucky, who has close to 600,000 subscribers on YouTube right now for his ‘Well Off Media’ channel. Travis Hunter isn’t too far behind, and the two friends started their social media journey at the same time as well. But mind you, Hunter is a household name for CFB fans and Bucky is not. So Bucky’s achievements in that context are humongous. That tells you the level of respect Bucky has garnered, and with NFL permission sorted out. We could see the guy in the NFL, too.
