Warren Sapp is a proud man. He’s proud of what he accomplished in the NFL. He’s proud to coach talented kids in Colorado as a pass rush coordinator. And he’s a proud dad of his 27-year-old daughter. And Cede Sapp? She gives every reason for her dad to be proud—a record-setting D1 goalkeeper at UNF with a Master’s Degree in Communication Management. But her heart? Well, the ‘QB Killa’ might have to take the backseat for this one. Because it’s R&B and it has a name.

Cede Sapp is like any other music fan when it comes to the King of R&B. And in her latest Instagram story on May 24, she put her Chris Brown fandom on full blast. Posting a reel of the Breezy singer as he roasted his opponent in an energetic hip-hop dance-off, she left no doubt in her six-word confession—“Falling in love all over agaiiiiinnnnnnnnnnn.” And she saved the best for last. “The smile at the end… so cheeeeeeeky 🤭,” she added, capping the story with the kind of giddy fangirl energy. And if you watch till the end, you’d nod in agreement.

This isn’t a one-off, by the way. Chris Brown has been living rent-free in her playlist forever. Months back, she gave a shout-out to the RESIDUALS music video. “Just watched this music video at work and I loved it,” she wrote, before sealing the deal with a 3-word mic drop—“I love you.” Can it get more direct? Team Breezy has one heck of a goalie! And Cede’s R&B loyalty doesn’t end there.

Back in March, Cede dropped what might be her most iconic music take yet. “IDC who in the car when I’m on aux playing PARTYNEXTDOOR, I don’t want nobody talking,” she wrote, then added, “respectfully. 🤫” And if you know the kind of music that Jahron Brathwaite, aka PartyNextDoor makes, you’ll understand why. The singer sets the whole mood. Cede knows the vibe, and she guards it like she used to guard the net. And this lady is as high on the Bucs as she is on R&B music.

Cede Sapp and Warren Sapp united by the Buccaneers

Cede Sapp’s loyalty to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers can’t be missed. Even while soaking in the sun at St. Pete Beach, FL, she didn’t hesitate when she spotted a Bucs’ license plate. Her response is classic Sapp blood—“Bucs or die baby.” And yeah, Warren Sapp isn’t about to be left behind.

After all, he played for the Bucs from 1995 to 2003, culminating in a Super Bowl win in his final season. On Saturday, he was back in the spotlight with a cause to support his old Miami Hurricanes teammate, Ray Lewis, at the Ray of Hope Foundation event in Lakeland, Florida.

Wearing his Colorado Buffs hat and a Bucs’ sweatshirt, of course, Warren Sapp posted a shot alongside Lewis with the caption—“@raylewis showed up for @rayofhope.foundation event!” This event at the Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium focused on mental health awareness and community bonding, featuring everything from three-legged races to health screenings. Both legends, now HoFs, once terrorized offenses in the ‘90s. Today, they’re giving back, showing there’s more to life than just sacks and picks.

Cede Sapp's R&B loyalty—Does it rival her dad's legendary NFL career?

Have an interesting take?

If you ask Cede Sapp, though, there’s also a lot of rhythm in between. And right now? That rhythm sounds a lot like Chris Brown.
