Folks, rise!! It’s Warren Sapp’s birthday. Man, this was one of the most perfect hiring by Deion Sanders. In Coach Prime’s conquest to grab the most NFL knowledge for his boys, Sapp was put on his radar as well. This 2013 Hall of Famer DT was an amazing asset for the Buccaneers and now, as a GA for the Buffs, Sapp has been having the time of his life. “I am really addicted to it right now,” was what Warren Sapp mentioned while talking about his experience at the Buffs. See, Deion and his boys just ended the regular season with a massive 9-3 run. Add Travis Hunter grabbing the Heisman, on top of that, and you get one of the most perfect redemption stories in college football.

Now the only thing left to do is give Sapp the perfect birthday celebration. However, it looks like the family managed to beat Deion’ to the race. “Happy birthday to my favorite son… Happy birthday, baby! I love you. You were a blessing to me, as well as your family,” Annie Roberts, Sapp’s mother, wished him for his birthday. The clip was shared by TS4T Sports Media back on YouTube and it was so sweet.

This man is a blessing to everyone around him. He even congratulated Hunter when the 2-way star got the Heisman trophy. “30 yrs ago I didn’t get to take it home but @db3_tip did!! Congratulations,” Sapp had mentioned while sharing a snap of him and Hunter on Instagram.

And you know? He is an amazing father as well. When Sapp’s daughter Mercedes Sapp got her wisdom tooth removed, the family was also celebrating Meme’s birthday on that very day. Now on the menu, we got some good fish fry, but Coach Sapp knew that his daughter would have a problem eating.

So, he pan-fried it!! “And we had a fish fry for Meme’s birthday. Just for him to recognize it and pan-fry me some fish so I could eat,” Mercedes mentioned on her Instagram story. We cannot wait to see more from this man. However, while Sapp’s mother did beat Deion to the race (wishing Coach Sapp), that doesn’t mean Deion Sanders forgot.

Deion Sanders took to X to share a snap of him and Sapp with a very sweet message. “Happy Birthday to my brother Warren Sapp! We love man and we’re so darn proud of u!” Deion Sanders wrote.

It’s kind of wild that there was a time when Sapp was not even on the idea of joining the Buffs as a staff member. And now? Well, he is having the time of his time. Honestly, though, you have to thank Deion Sanders for all of it.

“When you work for a man like that, you follow him anywhere,” Sapp had mentioned while talking about Coach Prime and the impact he has had. Coach Sapp’s vision for Colorado Buffs football is simple. Make the roster so good that teams who come to play at Folsom fear them.
