Simmons didn’t just graduate early; he did that while maintaining a laser focus on both athletics and academics. The jersey no. 13 trained with NFL players at just 12. And he also completed his high school coursework with a jaw-dropping 5.34 GPA. After which, he left his Miami home to enroll at Ole Miss two years before expected. 

Simmons wasn’t just a student—he was a scholar-athlete in every sense. While at Pahokee, he excelled in both baseball and football, alongside working for a college degree. The four-star recruit, as per On3, took dual-enrollment courses, which allowed him to earn college credits simultaneously. This led him to complete his associate degree before most students could even finish high school. His time at Pahokee wasn’t just about Friday night lights. Rather, it was sincerely about planning a future that only a few can imagine.
