His on and off-field personality traits impressed Robert, and on this note, he said, “He’s absolutely tenacious. He has a natural feeling for rushing the passer. Off the field, I found a young man that was very talented, mature beyond his years, and also very driven“. So, you can imagine the kind of player Green is. Green attended McEachern High School, and he started playing football there. After that, Green transferred to Carrollton High School for some academic reasons in his senior year, but there he did not get the chance to play football. Then, to complete his pre-collegiate football career as well as study, he again transferred to Prince Avenue Christian School. So, you can understand the initial stage of his football career was quite mundane.

However, very little information is publicly available regarding Green’s performance at high school, but it is undeniable that he was an asset to the Sun Devils. He recorded 39 tackles and six sacks in 2023 season with Arizona State. Because of this fabulous season, he was named as the second team all Pac-12. Then, he made a decision to play with the Washington Huskies but left his fans shocked; he flipped his commitment and started to play for the Colorado Buffaloes. Starting from an ordinary player to become a four-star prospect was not easy for the defensive end of Colorado. In the 2021 Las Vegas Bowl, he contributed two sacks.
