Makai Lemon, a top two-way prospect in the 2023 class, was the USC wide receiver who previously played for the Sooners. The most important fact is that the wide receiver graduated a year early from his high school and then he chose the Trojans because of the link with the receiver coach, Dennis Simmons. Lemon is also considered the No. 6 wide receiver in the 2023 recruiting class as per the On3 Industry Ranking.

However, the stellar performer played as a wide receiver as well as a cornerback in his true freshman year in 2023 at USC. So, you can imagine how versatile he is as a star player. Lemon studied at Los Alamitos High School in California and started his football journey there. He helped Los Alamitos in the Sunset League to place first. And he caught 69 passes and 12 touchdowns in that game. Along with that, the star athlete ranked as the No. 22 recruit overall in the 2023 class. However, the wide receiver had an amazing senior year at Los Alamitos, earning spots on multiple teams, including the 2022 All-CIF Division I Team and the 2022 Los Angeles Times All-Star Team.

In 2023, lemon was chosen for the Polynesian Bowl and he was named as a 2023 Under Armour All-American. Additionally, he was named to the MaxPreps California All-State First Team in 2021. Most importantly, the 4-star athlete he was a Polynesian High School Player of the Year finalist.
